With some practice and patience, once you know how to trim your mane with these simple, aesthetic, and durable implements, not only will you have greater control over your beard style and softer beard hair, you will also realize the practicality of not having to rely on a electric trimmer when you travel or having to hear an annoying motor sound in your ears every time you go about this essential task. Really, the more pleasant snip-snip of scissors (which you can always sharpen), the touch of a gentle wooden comb (which you can always replace), and the happy, softening pat of a boar bristle brush (which you can always replace or even do without), make the whole exercise rather meditative and elegant in a supremely minimalist and aesthetic way, besides the green points you can award yourself by transcending the dependence on a fancy electric trimmer whose very design logic makes it more ecologically and economically demanding. It is bound to have a plethora of un-replacable and un-recyclable components, all bureaucratic in nature and trapped in its own concept of reduced functionality. This is never the case with a pair of scissors, comb, or brush, which can be put to use in so many other ways too.
