Finicky about setting. *by C***Y on March 23, 2025* This is my first experience with two part resin, aside from two part epoxy adhesive. I bought it to use as an adhesive, because buying the tiny tubes that dry out after a single use was annoying and not so cost effective. I also used it to coat small painted hair clips and pins to protect them and make them shiny. After using it a few times, I’ve had inconsistent results, even in the same mix batch. Some adhered beautifully. Some stayed tacky for weeks, and I had to scrape it off and redo it. Using too thick of a layer definitely had a higher failure rate, as I often found myself adding a little more to make getting a smooth surface easier. It looked a little cloudy when first mixed, but turned clear again and leveled out nicely when spread across a surface. I think the 68 degree temp in my house in winter probably also contributed to the failure rate.
