Pool Leak Detection Dye Kit for Inground Above Ground Pools Spa & Hot Tub

I have to say that when I bought this leak detection kit that it would really work. Well I’m wrong again! This actually found the leak in my pool! Last year we had brand new liner installed and this summer we were loosing an inch a day in water. I was all ready to call it quits and have a new liner put in. I decided to go on line and look up how to find a leak in your pool. A video came up and the guy was using this product. So I went for it and bought the kit. Used it yesterday and found the leak in under a half hour! Leak is fixed and we saved a lot of money! Easy to use and it worked! Totally recommend getting this kit if you think you have a leak in your pool!

Bought the neon yellow dye kit. Lots of dye included, and was easy to refill the syringes. Worked great! Very easy to see in the water, and it took a while to 'drift away' from the local area being tested inside the pool. Would definitely recommend if you are trying to find a leak!!

This kit works extremely well. Using food coloring and a small syringe I’d spent hours and days trying to find where my pool was losing water. The food coloring would quickly dissipate and vanish against the dark blue patterned liner. Looking for a better option I found this. The neon yellow in this kit stays highly visible much longer. The two included syringes hold plenty of dye, eliminating the need for constant refills. The long blunt needles/applicators allow you to very precisely distribute and observe the dye. I was able to locate and confirm several tiny pinholes in the liner. I never would’ve found these with the 5ml plastic blunt-tip syringe I’d been using. The bottle cap’s design makes filling the syringe simple and mess-free. It anlso allows you to push the unused dye back into the container. I wish I would’ve known about this product from the beginning. It’s something, in my opinion, any pool owner should keep on hand.

While I tried and tried and couldn't find my leak, I did have fun with this dye product! Helped me narrow down the leak to something slow at the main drain or perhaps seepage through the gunnite.. Gonna spend big bucks but at lease I'm a little more aware of where the problem should be when the pro arrives. Highly recommend this dye. It is very easy to see. A bit darker than I anticipated but great contrast against white plaster.

Recently bought a house with inground pool noticed the light was crooked. To make a long story short we discovered that the niche was not put in place correctly pool was just recently resurfaced. We bought a ring to fix that problem. After that install we started noticing we were losing water at a good rate. I thought maybe we loosened the plug behind the niche. So I purchased the dye kit to find the leak . We checked everything according to the instructions nothing was showing a leak. Took the light out and checked behind the plug in the niche around the wire plug nothing. We then realized that we didn’t plug the old screw hole that was in the wrong location in the niche, got the dye out and sure enough that proved to be where the leak was coming from dye pulled right into it. Problem solved. I t worked great . Good thing to have for any future problems. Haven’t lost any water since.

Works well lasts a while to allow you to pinpoint the area. Only problem was it went through customs and the didn't put the lid on and half the product was all over package

Works very well to locate pool leaks. I did find that the plunger stuck a little and then would suddenly jet out a bunch of the dye but with some practice it was easier to control. It also initially looked like the dye would stain the vinyl but it did go away after a day or so. Overall a good product.
