I have been using this for a year now and I'm very happy to have found this product. I have skin issues and this doesn't irritate my skin at all. I'm very pleased with how our clothes are cleaner and there is no residue like other brands leave. It has also helped keep my washing machines cleaner. Even after I wash my dog's bedding and the couch covers there is no we dog smell like before. I don't have to clean my washing machines as often and they don't get that rancid odor like before at all.

This has worked well for us so far with our most stinky loads of laundry, including cycling/hiking gear, clothes worn cleaning some of the smelliest/dirtiest of animal areas while volunteering at a rescue ranch, and even our own dog laundry. I do use cold water and extra rinse cycle as well as follow the instructions of putting the powder in first at the bottom of the drum before the clothes. I also line dry the clothes instead of using the dryer. No residue on clothes and no noticeable smell remaining. It's seems a little higher end for pricing but has been effective.

2nd time purchasing. Excellent product. Spouse can't tolerate scented products so having this available as scent-free is a gift.Has worked wonders to get odor out of exercise gear and smelly work clothes. I like that it goes into the washer drum. I first purchased a name brand liquid sanitizer at the store but found out after the fact that they go into the fabric softener dispenser and get added to the rinse cycle (and required a certain holding time which i cant control with my washer). I've also used it as a separate soak and works great there too.

I have been using this as an additive in my laundry for a while. It is great at getting that lingering sweaty stink out of work-out clothes. But the real reason this product is getting 5 stars (and frankly I'd give it more if I could) is that my very curious but not very bright dog got sprayed by a skunk last night and then walked his happy self all over the house before I realized what had happened. Added this to a load of laundry that was VERY stinky going in and it came out completely clean. No residual odor at all. THANK GOODNESS!

I’ve had mixed results with Dirty Labs enzyme laundry booster. On the positive side, it really does help remove stubborn BO smell from my son’s shirts when used as a pre-soak. That alone impressed me because some athletic-type odors are hard to get out.However, I’ve also noticed that it seems to pull dye from darker clothing. After soaking shirts in a bucket, the water is visibly tinted with the color from the clothes, and that dye can transfer onto lighter items if they’re soaked together. My concern is that repeated use may gradually fade or lighten colored shirts over time.For us, it works well for odor removal, but I’d recommend being cautious with dark or brightly colored fabrics and definitely separating lights and darks when soaking.
