Why does my hair appear burned or damaged?

Start with a lower temperature and adjust as needed for your hair type. Make sure your hair is fully dry, as moisture may cause steam or smoke during styling. Using a heat protectant is also recommended.

Will the curls hold on fine or soft hair?

Fine or silky hair may need a little extra hold. Use smaller sections, and once the curl is ready, gently release each curl and let it cool completely before brushing. A light styling product can also help curls last longer.

Why does the curling iron sometimes tangle my hair?

The iron has an anti-tangle design, but we recommend inserting 1-inch sections fully into the slot each time. Using larger sections may cause tangles.
