Absolutely Fantastic Game
Call of Duty: World at War is a classic in the franchise. Set during World War 2, the campaign is told with two alternating arcs. The first arc we are introduced to is the American arc, which is set in the Pacific Campaign and follows your character, Roebuck, Sullivan, and Polonsky as they travel from Makin Atoll to Peleliu Island and finally to Shuri Castle. While this arc is emotional, especially with the tough decision you make at the end, it is definitely the weaker of the arcs. This arc slaps you in the face with emotion. Comparatively, the Soviet arc full on punches you and knocks out a couple teeth. The Soviet arc starts in a fountain of dead Russians in Stalingrad, which is one hell of a way to set the emotion. As the arc progresses, you follow the Soviets as they push the Germans out of Russia and further into Germany; you begin as the hunted and quickly turn into the hunter. This arc does not shy away from the atrocities committed by both sides in the war as Stalingrad is not only shown to be in ruins, but you—the player—are encouraged to burn German soldiers alive and kill all who retreat. Not only is this arc horrifying, but it is also emotionally moving. Now, I am no communist, but when the game has you plant the Soviet flag on the roof of the Reichstag as the Soviet national anthem plays, you feel a real sense of patriotism along. You have just gone through Hell and you conquered it. Both arcs make you invested with its characters. You fight along with most of the same people from the first mission to the last, so when something happens to them it is an actual touching experience. These characters obviously aren’t the most fleshed out characters complete with backstory and everything, but they have their own quirks. Chernov wrote in a diary. Reznov would call Chernov a coward for writing the war and not fighting it, saying no one would read it. Reznov would eventually say “someone should read this”; a line which brings chills down my spine. Although World at War is an amazing game, it isn’t without a few flaws.. Grenades are way too common, and it’s always when you are under cover trying to heal. It almost feels like the enemies have unlimited grenades which they very well may have. Also, the multiplayer is filled with hackers since the game is so old. Overall, the game’s campaign plays out like a movie and although it was released in 2008, is still a masterpiece in storytelling and you should definitely play it.

Unoriginal Packaging
I immediately noticed that the game was not in its original packaging/case. There was a printed label on the plastic wrapping. The cover for the case was also noticeably not original, colors and font were slightly “washed out” as if it was printed off a regular printer on glossy paper. Opened the case and the booklet was not there, the disc was not secured so it’s been rattling in there. It was then that I looked at other people’s reviews and it made me hesitant when reading that some copies were from another country, making it unplayable on the US PS3’s. I tested the game out and luckily it worked for me.

SCAM!! Was not new like advertised. And come to find out it wasn’t a actual game
Cracked case and scratched disk. Once I put it in my ps3 multiple times to try and play it my PlayStation wouldn’t even read the disc. I tried all my other ps3 games thinking it might be the system and the PlayStation reads them perfectly fine. DO NOT GET SCAMMED BY THESE PEOPLE

Warning:It's the Australian version
Yeah, didn't expect I'd get the Australian version but nonetheless my PS3 isn't region locked at least

Originally, i had this on the Nintendo Wii, and played it so much, that i wore out the console, as well as the disc. Now i have a PS3, and this game, i play it more than any other game, and will remain my favourite, and best WWII game i have played. A little surprise for me, was the Black Cats mission, and Zombies, which were not on the Wii version. I highly recommend this game if you haven't played it.

グラフィックは、まぁまぁですが、とても良いゲームだと思います。日本では、発売していないので、(日本兵を殺すから?)英語版しかないですが、中学レベルでも十分楽しめます。少々、勇気がいりますが.....
