Fabulous and inspiring book.

Love this book - was not expecting this book to be this big or heavy - I was pretty shocked. It looks like a very expensive and quality book with its hard cover. More important, the content is very good I can relate to this book as I love the flow. There is an in-depth explanation on each name of Allah. Just what I was looking for. I also have the book ‘Reflecting on the Names of Allah’ which is very good also. However, I personally relate better to the Divine Names - for some reason.

I absolutely love this book! Shaykha Fawzia has gifted us with this powerful and transformative masterpiece. I'm eternally grateful.

Wonderful book outlining the inner meanings of the 99 Beautiful Names. Wonderful interpretation.

This book came in perfect condition. The writer defines not only the names of Allah, but brings the reader into the heart of Islam, revealing it's beautiful complexity and depth beyond stereotypes and prejudice. You are drawn into a deeper love than you could ever fathom with each page you read.

If this book doesn't transform your heart and soul, I don't know what can. Incredible book, brings so much hope to the hopeless, brings light to the parts of you that were dark. This book has lots of remedies to heal the heart using the divine names and let me tell you, it's magic. This book is transparent and clear to understand. Very well written and designed. Very inspiring for all ages.

Not yet finished with the explication odmf each name/attribute. The book is a great coffee table book: esthetically very pleasing. On the inside, I expected more gold letters but the text was all black and very basic. Did not suit the exterior to my taste and opinion.

A wonderful reference to the names of God. Provides additional practices. A constant companion.

This book is intended for English speakers who want to understand better how to use the Divine Names in prayer. The divine quality contained in each name is explained in highly readable English and the 3 consonant Arabic root is identified. Each name is accompanied by a beautiful Arabic calligraphy rendering of the name. The specific healing power of each name is accessed through recitation. (A free MP3 file of the 99 Names may be downloaded from the author's website.) Sufis believe Arabic is one of the "sound-key" languages--that is that the vibration of the sounds themselves carry power to affect the human body, soul, and spirit. Reciting the names or a specific name brings healing. This reviewer is a mere novice at the practice, but I have definitely experienced benefits from praying in this way. I have also seen positive changes in others for whom I have prayed some divine names. If you value the heart opening and heart healing practice of "Remembrance of God," or want to learn about it from a learned Sufi teacher, this book will inspire.
