Love these electric scissors!, I chose an expensive item as I wanted scissors I can rely on. It is great to cut layers of fabric in one go, it's like cutting through butter with a hot knife. I also like the option of using cable free or plugged in. My only issue re design is that there is no ‘off switch’ and if I had children in the house I would always make sure the battery is taken out before leaving out (I will probably do this as a matter of course to ensure no-one accidentally gets hurt - including myself).

Ordered for a friend of mine who is a seamstress and has her own small business. Her right hand has a muscle and nerve damage after an accident causing limited movement even after her surgery, she is delighted with this cutter as she was in pain when using regular scissors for cutting materials. Makes her job faster, easier and pain free now.

If only I had bought these before...easy to set up...so quick to cut things out and not too noisy. Love using them now.

These were great for cutting cardboard! My granddaughter and I made a cat tower! It cut like butter!

Brought this as thought it would be useful when cutting fabric from paper pattern. Unfortunately there was only one head in the package and it had what I thought was excessive oil around the blades.I plugged in the device and very quickly it heated up , which the instructions alluded to. However when I picked it up it was so hot I dropped it . I did not use it at all. I think I was unlucky as my unit was obviously faulty . I returned it the same day and received a full refund within a couple of days .

This cutter is selling at £119 the time of this review. If you are looking for a cutter, please reconsider before buying this cutter. Here's what is wrong with it: - No safety catch, no on/off button, just one trigger button. My electric drill that is less lethal has more safety features than this - Not even a cap included to cover the cutting blades - What baffles me is that the same company has another product listing on amazon which is £20 cheaper, you get exactly what you get here plus one extra cutter head (B type) - Two separate adaptors, one for the charging dock and one for direct power, neither are UK plugs. The travel adaptor included don't worth 20p - Quality of this is shocking for £119 product. All plastic are shiny and cheap. None of the joint fits snugly - A dollop of grease on the cutter head, very messy I must say, I have tried cutting with it and it cuts really well and really fast, but due to absence of any safety features I will not be using this. Overall, this feels like a toy but in fact it is an unsafe product that can easily so serious damage to someone. The price is just way too much for such a poor quality product. Please stay away from this.
