This book is awesome! Any Harry Potter fan will love it! You can u ford by page or all of it to make one piece. Super cute.

Amazing!!! So much to discover. You can read it page by page like a normal book, or lay the whole thing out. When it’s brand new, so far, we can’t get it to lay out flat. There are little tabs you can fold out to put weights down but that still doesn’t get it to lay out neat and flat. I’m not disappointed though. At my sons current age it’s better to treat it like a normal book. I assume once we’ve read it many times it’ll start to lay flat a bit better when fully laid out. You won’t be disappointed though. Especially if you’re a HP fan!!

As a fan of origami & pop ups and someone who create paper crafts as well, I found this cleverly & beautifully made! I love everything about this~ I create pop up cards & 3d cutouts myself, so I understand that creating paper crafts like this that had to be fold close sometimes it will need a little bit of help when opening back up. This is an art made to be taken home and prop up w/o the artist or creator~ So for me having to refold or to straighten some parts is nothing, I still find it beautiful nonetheless (This is what I hoped people would understand). It is very wonderfully made, there are even parts you can peek through inside. The mini pop ups are just as awesome~!! My fave is the Padfoot and Marauder’s map pop up, those are very cleverly made, love it!! And another thing I like about it is you can spread the whole thing!😍 The tabs are quite difficult to take off though~ Although this could be great for kids, I think it will live longer with collectors as some of it are quite fragile when opening. Maybe you can show it to kids then have an adult keep it at other times 😅

Ok, this is the best pop up book I’ve ever seen! If you or anyone you know is a Harry Potter fan, this is a great gift! Once we laid out all the pages, there are then more interactive pages on the flat book areas, and even windows and doors that open on the pop up parts!! 🤯 Very well made, incredible quality of the pages and interactivity. A seriously awesome adult pop up book!!

If there is a book that can do magic, this is the one. I bought it for my daughter but myself became fascinated by it, too. My daughter is very excited for this book and spent a lot of time exploring the Magic’s there. She loves this book a lot. In addition, paper_tiger_books is a very responsible company and provides wonderful customer services. At first, when we got the book, it is defective. That one looks like has been read or carelessly flipped before. A few parts got ripped or broken. My daughter was very disappointed. I contacted the seller, requested for a replacement. The seller, paper_tiger_books, immediately sent a new and perfect one to me. Thank you very much, paper_tiger_books! Your great customer service made me and my daughter very happy.

Beautiful and intricate book, but not really for kids. My 8 year old niece asked for one for Christmas and so I ordered it and while she thought it was super cool, there was a lot of help from her father with opening and closing it carefully. If you are someone who appreciates it as more of a collector item for real Harry Potter fans, then it's worth the price. If it's for a kid who just likes pop-up books and that's seen the first two movies, pass. I definitely disagree with the 5-12 yr old range I've seen for these books; I'd start at 10.

This isn't a book that you read page after page. Instead, it's a three dimensional map of Hogwarts and the locations there that feature in the Harry Potter series. The binding has a magnetic hinge that allows it to lay flat. You have to methodically fold it out to see the whole thing, so you need a large clean flat place to work. There are directions to help you open it correctly. It is very intricate. There are fold-out and pop-ups inside the fold-outs and pop-ups. You will need steady and patient hands for the delicate work of uncovering everything there is to discover. Haste makes waste. It is packed in a clear plastic sleeve that is re-closeable. I have always made sure to store my Matthew Reinhart books in these sleeves to protect them. It also helps create an unboxing/repacking ceremony for the books that helps remind one of the need to take special care. I have been a big fan of Matthew Reinhart's for many years and he has never failed to totally astound me with his feats of paper engineering. Some things are worth a little extra effort.

The book is amazing but everyone already knows that. What I was impressed about was the great condition the book arrived in - I was a bit worried after some reviews mentioned small tears and flimsy construction- but it arrived in perfect condition. It's a given that this is a collectible item and expensive - to be handled with extreme care by an adult or a child who has lots of patience . Very very happy with my purchase - I thought the quality of construction was perfect and this book encompasses my two favorite things - harry potter and pop-up books.
