Well, looks can be deceiving and I was shocked at how much I can stuff into it. There are ample pockets to tuck smaller items in. There is a small center mesh pouch but it's not anchored to the bottom and I find that items can slip under it. I don't know if this was an intentional design so that you can put larger items on the bottom, but I find it kind of annoying. It's easy to carry around or tuck on a shelf.
