These are great lights. I do prefer the ones that come with a cover as the light is not quite as hard to look at with it. I have a 40x60 shop and have 4 of these and 4 with covers. There is a noticeable difference in the lights looks though. These definitely feel and look more heavy duty than the one with the covers. But other than that I don’t notice a difference in light quality in the shop. So time will tell.

Great light, lower bills. What more can I ask for? Used 30 of these over the last 3 years to update lighting in a 15,000 sf warehouse. Removed old sodium highbays and inefficient T12 fixtures. Higher light levels using only 10 to 30% of the energy as the old fixtures. Oldest fixtures have been burning for 3 years and are still going strong - instant on with zero flickering. Having plug connections will make installation easy if/when it comes time to replace. Only downside is the light may be a bit too bright in some areas. I used the polycarbonate diffusers in the areas that get the most activity to soften shadows and spread the light better without diminishing the light output. Super happy with these fixtures!!
