Originally I got this in hopes of them being helpful for my knees. Instead they helped my feet, the painkillers prescribed for my feet did very little and I didn't like taking them. Was pleasantly surprised when the S.O.D took all the pain from my feet unless I'd been on my feet much more than usual.

Potent antioxidant. Good for nerve health and fight free radicals. This formula is quite complete also as it's important to add copper when supplementing with zinc as they antagonize each other and you risk depletion in your body. I also like the fact that they added glutathione and manganese. 5*

Improves visual acuity.

I do buy this product but what evidence is there it actually is absorbed into the bloodstream and not destroyed by stomach acids? I read all these reviews but they are all anecdotal and none of the comments are evidence based or backed up by scientific rigour. As a research scientist it horrifies me how people make claims without any robust evidence to back the claims up. I am not convinced the SOD is absorbed into the blood stream in any active form as SOD has almost no bioavailability. I am considering stopping taking this as I have taken this supplment for some time out of habit until I read peer reviewed publications that do not support many of the claims from the manufacturers. the regulation of supplments and advertising is poor to say the least.

I keep buying this because when i run out i feel a little worse healthwise, its one of those things that you notice when its gone, Also has a good spectrum of glutathione bits.
