EDC knife
Application: Wanted an EDC with a "pretty" finish for a good value. I don't like carrying knives over 100 USD as its a shame when you loose them. Pros; -great value -just as pictured - comes sharp from the factory - easy to sharpen versus curved blades Cons: -a little heavy for EDC -deployment slightly cumbersome but not the worse Conclusion: I love this knife, I don't carry it every day as it's a little heavy for my tastes but I did get one for my godson who absolutely loves it. Easy to sharpen. Good value.

Five-Star knife!
Locking mechanism is 100% secure! Truly a Damascus blade: sharp, tough and fancy. Cost-effective compared with other Damascus knives on the market! This is my daily carry pocket knife!

Really impressed!!!
I’m really impressed! This knife is sturdy and smooth. It is a hardy piece of metal and it looks great. No cheap feel whatsoever. Good job BGT!!!

Good budget EDC knife
This is an excellent budget EDC knife. I have been carrying this for the past week, and it’s convenient and sharp. It’s effortless to open; the size is perfect, not too big, bulky, or too small. Compared to my custom Gerber Fastball, William Henry, and other high-end knives, they are obviously better. As for this knife, it’s $20, and you get what you pay for it. I like the texture of the handle.

Very nice blade, clean and smooth action - just needs a little adjustment.
I have purchasing a significant number of pocket knives over the past few months (30+ in the fast 80 days) in an effort to provide me with a good means to compare the knives side-by-side to provide me with knowledge on makers, models, steel, locking mechanisms and more. I love Tanto blade styles and was waiting impatiently for this knife to arrive - like a kid in the candy store. At any rate, the weight of the knife is well distributed and the texturing on the body of the knife was nice- most certainly did not distract and after using the knife to just whittle on some Spruce, Oak and Maple the knife remained comfortable with no hot spots. The sharpness of the blade did not appear to go dull much at all, I have engineered a device that will measure the blades edge so that I have a little bit more scientific approach for this bullet point. Now there is one significant thing that raises a huge red flag 🚩 for me. For a bearing balanced thumb opener, this thing is horrible. I will have to do some tweaking and lubricating if this is ever to be usable. It must be a production problem. Be safe - Robert S. “Once an Eagle Scout, Always an Eagle Scout”

Unreal quality for the price. These are great knives, have bought several for gifts.
Great knives. Centered, lockup is great, blade is amazing, bearings make the action very fast and smooth. You can't beat the quality for the price. The damascus is top notch!

Solid build
Solid little knife that feels well made. Interested in seeing how long I'll keep it with me. Sharp enough to open packages and cut fruit but not worried about cutting myself on it. Clip feels sturdy and reliable. Locking mechanism is easy to use and smooth.

A good life with flaws
I am a knife user and collector and this is a good knife for the money with a few exceptions. From an EDC point of view this knife has 3 major flaws. 1) To heavy; this thing is a tank of knife which does not make it a pleasure to carry unless you like heavy knives. 2) The blade geometry is way too thick for EDC tasks and the thickness behind the edge is steep making it not a good slicer. It works as a knife and is easy to sharpen for the budget steel and price pint but the thickness makes it lag behind other models with thinner stock and a better grind. 3) The lock bar edge is sharp and uncomfortable when disengaging the lock bar. I work withy hands as a construction worker and feel like I have fairly callused fingers and this thing is uncomfortable to use. I actually bought two of these as I thought a good value (one plain blade and the Damascus one) and both knives suffer this problem. As a tactical knife I did not test it but it feels sturdy (bothy blades did have some side to side play out of the box but the hardware make it easy to adjust I did not fiddle with mine). As a fondling/fidget blade the sharp lock bar disengagement make it a definite NO. For this money there are much batter value options out there. Cheers
