My previous DVD player was on it's last leagues and I needed a new one. I ordered this model from Boifum and it has worked very well. The larger screen provides an excellent clear quality picture. It has a very good sound quality and volume level. The player is easy to use and the controls are clear to understand. It takes just a few hours to recharge. I am very happy with the purchase so far.

Hands down the best portable dvd player ever! It’s hugeeee, the functionality of this is so easy to use! The sound quality is perfect! Playability on this is clear, feels sturdy and the rotation is great for them long car rides! 10/10 recommend!!

After experimenting with Boifun’s BFN-144 DVD Player for several days, I discovered that the unit has more capability than I expected. Using the headphone jack and the supplied AV cable, I was able to connect a pair of external speakers and a television. To connect the unit to a computer monitor, I used the supplied AV cable, along with an inexpensive AV-to-HDMI converter. Through the BFN-144’s USB port, I was able to load a 32gb Thumb Drive and play various MPG and FLV movies and video clips from the Thumb Drive. I had equally good results when I loaded a 32gb SD Card. When I had the DVD Tray, the Thumb Drive, and the SD Card loaded at the same time, the full featured remote control was particularly useful. The remote’s source selector button navigated seamlessly between the three sources, and the remote’s numbered buttons enabled me to jump quickly from one menu selection to the next on each removable device. The BFN-144’s HDMI-in port allowed me to connect it to a laptop, so that the BFN-144’s screen served as an extended monitor for the laptop. On the BFN-144’s screen, I could check email, or watch a movie, while opening other apps on the laptop’s screen. In every situation, the BFN-144 performed extremely well, with very clear screen resolution, user friendly controls, and good sound quality, from the internal speakers as well as from external speakers.

Good device. While the picture is quite good, it isn't as sharp as a good tv, but I didn't expect it to be, and I am satisfied with it. The speakers have very good volume and dialog clarity. The sound isn't rich, but certainly is fine, and when I plugged in powered computer speakers the sound was very good (and LOTS of volume! I had to turn the volume way low). I'm sure decent corded headphones would also be very good. It works great with fire tv stick! The power switch is, in my opinion and use, somewhat awkwardly placed, but definitely not a deal breaker. When playing dvds with the old picture aspect ratio (old tv shows for instance) the picture is stretched to fit the screen, which is unfortunate. It seems that if the device were connected to a tv, there is a setting so it would display properly, but not when just using this device. (One star off for this -it may not matter or affect you) All in all I am happy with this device.

I purchased this DVD player for a blind woman that I help care for so she could have something to listen to her DVD movies and CDs. She lives in a nursing home and they help her to play her DVDs and CDs. She recently moved facilities and the old facility decided that the plug for this DVD player was garbage and they threw it out! :( we tried to find it but to no avail. I contacted Boifun.net directly and asked them for their help. They were VERY helpful and immediately sent me a new plug for the player. I was blown away by the customer service and very happy with this. The DVD player itself is easy to use, the system plays the DVDs that my friend owns with no problems, and the sound quality is perfect for her. She uses headphones sometimes and there are no problems. The screen has a clear picture, and it is the perfect size for someone that might need a portable DVD player. Would buy again if needed! Exactly what I expected! My kids love using this portable DVD player. The screen is a big enough size to enjoy. It is also compatible with a retro game stick via hdmi and it works well! That is the main reason I purchased this player specifically. Buy it!

Very satisfied with this portable DVD player. It's the size of an average laptop, and it's nice to watch movies with a large screen! I tried a regular DVD as well as a VCD and there were no issues with playback. Sound from the speaker is fine. While the sound is not like the fancier name brands, it works for me. DVD player comes with a remote control and it uses two AAA batteries, which is not included. The DVD player was packaged very well and it has a detailed 21-page user manual. No regrets and looking forward to using this player when I'm too lazy to turn on the tv LOL.

I bought their 17.5^ dvd player and enjoyed so much I had to buy another for when I travel. It's lightweight and comes with a wall and car power cords. It has great video and audio I was surprised how loud the tiny speakers were. I especially love the fact that it plays all formats and regions of dvds. When I played my mp3 CD I enjoyed the volume and sound quality it sounded as good as my car stereo. I have issues with my hands being numb all the time I find the small remote & small buttons hard to operate. It would be awesome if they were to make the screen a touch screen like a tablet and be able to stream with it too, it would be the ultimate portable dvd player. Then i can operate the player even better, plus the great grandkids wouldn't lose the remote all the time. I bought this player to replace my tablet/dvd player combo and because of the player having to play dvds while in an upright position the player died after watching 12 movies..This player is very much worth the buck. Great price too. I enjoy both my portable dvd players (15.6" & 14.1" screens). Not to mention Boifun has awesome customer service too, plus fast to answer any & all emails. This player puts all the other portable dvd players in the market to shame in my opinion.

Dvd player works great! Screen is larger than I expected as well. Runs relatively quietly, and easy to use with remote or controls on the unit. Would recommend for others looking for a portable dvd player. Sound could be deeper but you can also just play sound through aux cord or headphones easily

I love this dvd player. The sound is laoud and the quality screen is good. I specially love that we can put it on a table or flip and close the screen to hang it in the car for kids. The new HDMI imput option will be nice for my husband that leave for 2 weeks for work, he will be able to use his switch on a screen! :) I recommand, you will also get good guaranty services.

Very bright and crisp display. Audio output is very loud which is good. What I dislike about it is that when you plug the video and audio output cable into the output jack. It does not cut off the audio from the DVD player. Like the fact you can get more use from it by using the video display with your firestick. All in all I am happy with it.

It has a vivid picture and the sound was awesome! My son likes it a lot! The screen is also wode enought to enjoy the movie. It is also easy to set up amd runs smoothly with no problem! Great buy!
