Really nice case. But if you drop your phone the case will dent and the impact marks will show. Case will also stay mis shaped.

This is the third Pixel phone that I've used with Google cases. With each case I've been impressed at how sleek they look and how well they fit. Compared to the other cases I've tried with this phone, the Google case is the only one that doesn't make it feel like I'm using a case. The black color goes perfect with the phone. Another plus is that it doesn't interfere with the screen protector I'm using. NFC and wireless charging works without issue. It doesn't get in the way of gestures. It easily comes off and on. It is a little more slippery than previous versions and other cases I've tried.

I had two cases. A cheap case that has lasted me ages, and pixel's case that is deteriorating after three months of use.

It's very basic but that is the point for me. It covers my phone, provides decent protection and doesn't interfere with my screen protector. I love the way it feels, kind of a soft rubbery texture but is smooth to the touch and feels premium. That smoothness may turn off some folks that like their cases rugged and grippy. It fits the phone precisely and adds almost no bulk to the overall weight of the phone. I love the design and the Google symbol on the back that feels metallic. The buttons for power and volume are metallic as well and feel really satisfying to click. They aren't overly clicky, which I like. The black color matches the onyx black of the phone and the cutouts for usb-c and speaker/microphone are aligned and accurate. Wireless charging works normally with it on. I'm considering getting the pearl white version also for color options as the case is super easy to take on and off. Rest assured it stays on until you want it to come off. My only complaint, which is just personal preference, is that it included magsafe compatibility but I assume adding a magnet ring would likely cause the case to look and feel a little bit more bulky. Google likely just wanted to offer something that had more aesthetic appeal over extra bells and whistles but I'm ok with that. All in all, terrific case that is made for and pairs perfectly with the phone.
