This light works perfectly on my 5 gallon aquarium. The different colors are very pretty and it is easy to control.

Great Product

I have these in a few sizes, but this is the only one I've actually set up. It's a pretty good value for the functions. Battery backup was on the top of my list for features, most lights with built in timers won't keep time during a power outage but these don't have that issue. A battery is included but it's an odd size button cell so you might want to order a few as backup when you get it, it wasn't something I keep around for multiple other like a 2032, it's some smaller battery I've already forgot the type, 1220 maybe. The instructions are adequate to set it up on both 24/7 or on/off, I've got it running on the 24/7 setup and it's nice having more subdued colors for a longer time period as an accent vs full blast for part of the day, though you can customize the length of all 5 slots. Quality is ok, this particular unit doesn't sit perfectly flat on the tank, it's only a few mm from a small warp but it is somewhat annoying, neither of the longer units I have had this issue when I tested them. Most of the cheapo light bars have a plastic housing, this is aluminum, although it doesn't have heat sinks, but it doesn't really get hot so that doesn't matter. Plenty bright for shallow tanks or for growing rheophytes and other low light plants and it has good color. I think the timer box placement is a little odd considering it's not waterproof, it's maybe 18" from the light itself but it seems like it would be better off further away just to reduce splash since in my case it sits against the bottom of the outside of the tank and I am not gentle with water changes, though I haven't had any issues yet. These are the only 24/7 lights I've tried, all my other lights are on off only, some with manual dimming, running on wifi timers. I live off grid, and while my power system is more reliable than PG&E for downtime, I do have occasional outages or maintenance, and I would lose my mind if I had to reprogram everything each time I shut down the system, so I am really happy with the battery feature. Overall these are great lights for the price, I don't have money for the 2 big name aquatic plant light brands and I think this is about as good as you can get on a budget. I forgot to get pictures of it and the tank is sleeping right now, might add some if I remember.

Took a minute to learn to set up. But with just a little patience and a YouTube video, worth it and it's amazing. I use it for my hermit crabs. They love it, sunrise, a full sunny day, to a beautiful sun set every evening, with full darkness at night. Would totally recommend for any habitat. It does not get hot and does not change your temperature in the habitat. I've had for several months now and very happy.

I have a fairly new set up in a 10 gallon aquarium for snails, 1 betta, and loads of plants. Since I started using this light the plant life has gone crazy. I love the timer functions that simulate sunrise and sunset and it really creates a vibe in my home. The only thing is, I am too old or too stupid to set the dang timers. I tried countless times and was giving up. Then my Gen y daughter came in and fixed it for me in 10 minutes. All that said, I love the light. For the price it is well worth it, in my opinion.

I couldn't understand how to set it up tried 5 times or more. So I use it as a backup when I order a different one. It is very low light but at least they have something.

Works like a charm. Supplies all the light my tank needs. Choose from a variety of light qualities. Set up a timer. And let it go. Just great!

So i've bought this light primarily because it was a cheap light with really good features and specs for this price. I love how much customization you have even at this budget. The light has 5% power incraments whitch is really handy to set the output power. I also needed something with a ip68 rating as i created a custom 3d print lid for my aquarium as the stock lid did not have a light uiipgrade option and this light made it perfect. The timer on the cable is also good no more need for bulky timers on the socket. Plus if your power runs out it has a battery that keeps the settings. all in all a verry good light for the price.

Finalmente la lampada per acquario che cercavo. Dopo Mille ricerche ho trovato una lampada con una piccola batteria integrata in modo che anche se dovesse saltare la corrente elettrica mantiene la sua memoria. Anche l'opzione di poter impostare a piacimento le cinque fasi dall'alba al tramonto è perfetta. Consigliatissima!

Eigentlich komme ich aus der Meerwasser Aquaristik und kenne die Preise und Leistungsdaten für Beleuchtung zur erfolgreichen Pflegen von Korallen. Für unsere Kinder haben wir ein kleines Süßwasserbecken besorgt was einfach zu pflegen ist. Nach etwas Recherche habe ich diese Lampe gefunden und bestellt. Am nächsten Tag wurde die Lampe geliefert und ich habe sie sofort in Betrieb genommen. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist auf deutsch und absolut verständlich geschrieben. Die verschiedenen Beleuchtungsmodi lassen sich gut einstellen (Sonnenaufgang, Tageslicht, Sonnenuntergang, Nachtbeleuchtung und Licht aus). Die Lampe macht ein sehr angenehmes Licht und ist für diesen Preis ein richtiges Schnäppchen. Über die Haltbarkeit kann ich natürlich noch keine Aussage treffen aber Stand jetzt kann ich sie für Süßwasserbecken mit Pflanzen und Fischen bedenkenlos empfehlen.
