does this work for reducing/ preventing the amount of lint on wool coats?

Yes it does prevent static - one good spray all round should keep static at bay all day - you dont need to carry it around With you.

Does it have a strong smell?

Not particularly. Any smell soon disapates. Certainly stopped our static & would buy again

I have netting over my wedding dress that has static. Can i use this on it?

Hi why don't you try by putting your hand under a small peace of netting and spray it it is absolutly safe on skin but I do not know the material your dress is made from if you can get the netting separate from dress then you can spray it.
