So my husband is in a wheelchair for several months. I needed to replace our floor fan since it was in his way, and needed two remotes so both of us could control the fan. Lasko is an American company so it was easy to find their website and order an extra remote. When installing, I used 2 1/4 inch long screws fastened into the stud. I think the included screws are way too short and I would absolutely not install into drywall even with anchors, not for something that moves and vibrates constantly. The owners manual doesn't mention it, but the fan does tilt some, it is very stiff and hard to tilt though. I had to call Lasko customer support to ask about the tilt, it was so stiff I thought maybe it wasn't supposed to tilt. Lasko should fix the owners manual to include a mention of this. The fan so far works as well as our Lasko floor fan, which I am super happy with.

Great fan, use it in the garage to move the air around, the remote control works great when the can is mounted high on a wall.

This fan supposedly made in the USA is total garbage! Vibrates like crazy and had an extremely loud humm. As far as I'm concerned it was defective. And yet, it cost me $30.00 to return it and the seller has the nerve to also charge a restocking fee. I'll be contacting Amazon with complaints. One of the worst experiences I've ever had through Amazon, in over 20 years. Terrible product and seller

I bought the fan to install on the wall of our bedroom. It's relatively quiet (as best a fan can be). We like the remote control. During the night we may decide to turn on or off the fan - nice to stay in bed and click the change.
