Hyperx always has amazing products
I’ve been using the HyperX Pulsefire Surge gaming mouse for a while now(7-8 months), and it’s been fantastic. The sensor is super accurate, the clicks feel crisp, and the RGB lighting still looks great. It’s held up perfectly through daily gaming and work use — no issues at all. Definitely a solid, dependable mouse that I’d recommend to anyone!

Very underrated mouse!
What can I say other than this is a fantastic mouse. I was a little skeptical about it because of the price, but once I tried it out I knew this is underrated and a great value. First, this mouse is beautiful and the clicks are satisfying. The Omron switches definitely help with that. Its fairly lightweight if your looking for a pure fps type mouse. Most mice with this type of sensor are going to cost much more, let alone the beauty of it helps with that value. The braided cable is solid so far and has not been in my way at all. I have large hands and sometimes I really have to be picky. This mouse is just large enough to be comfy without being too small. I enjoy the full grip of a g602, but this one is not as wide with a nice contour to it and I have no issues here. I have been playing games like Deadside and enjoying that sensor immensely. Its a fantastic buy if you can get it for under fifty bucks and at MSRP, its still worth it. I do not use this as a daily driver, I use this as a more situational mouse for fps, but it could double for anything you want. The side buttons have a fantastic feel and the scroll button has a nice feel also. My only real gripe is the software, but since Ngenuity is in beta, this is forgivable as I am a big fan of Kingston and HyperX in general. I have faith that it will improve over time. Ngenuity has not given me any real problems and has been fairly straight forward. For once with HyperX, I feel that the build quality may not hold up forever, but I would love to see this mouse in a lightweight semi-hollow honeycomb frame, then it would have to be up there with some of the best mice available. Keep'em coming HyperX!

Amazing mouse -- finally free from using Razer products!
As someone who's been "stuck" repurchasing Razer Deathadder mice for years now because I could never find anything of similar size/comfortable feel this is truly a great mouse in my opinion. It's got weight but still feels light (if you are accustomed to heavy mice it may not be for you however), the clicks feel satisfying and the mouse is not bogged down by a million different buttons since for me I only need the two side buttons to be mappable for my MMO. I will say if you are looking to escape Razer mice then please seriously consider this mouse. Not to bash Razer too hard but the build quality on the Deathadder imo has gone down over the years and now feels cheap, breaking within 6 months-1 yr of general gaming use. It glides smooth on my Corsair mat and I haven't noticed any issues performance wise yet. No lag, no jittery, nothing. I also really enjoy that I can set up a profile for my MMO so when I launch the game itself the software recognizes it and swaps over to that profile. The clicks are a little louder than my old Deathadder I feel but that's perfectly fine with me they aren't distracting in any way. The RGB customization on the mouse is fantastic -- you can set the colors, the pattern, etc. HOWEVER, be forewarned that you should definitely seek out the NON-WINDOWS 10 STORE version of the NGenuity software. **Officially** they will recommend the Windows 10 store version of it (obviously) but I've read a few too many horror stories of people running into performance issues with the Win10 store version vs the old style software, which allows you to do everything you'll probably want to/need to do in it anyway + still updated the firmware in my mouse when I hooked it up. Just a little heads up and hopefully saves a headache for anyone thinking about buying this mouse.

odd shape
I normally use razer mouse I have both deathadder and mamba te just the te sensor is really lacking. From different reviews I took rocket jump ninja advice and brought this hyperx surge over other's he had on his site. Now here the reason I have 4 stars sure they fixed the buttons colliding but the piece I got on the right side is uneven toward the front so my ring finger grinds against what is the plastic side almost like a knife very annoying and this only occurs on the right side left was fine. I'm still keeping it since it a really good mouse with sensor and weight just have to push the side in making the plastic go in an obvious manufacturing flaw. I also got to say for those who want to get this mouse you might not like it since it tapers toward the back leaving you nowhere to place your palm, and take a bit of time you do get used to it just a fyi. update: It has been about almost a month now since purchase the sensor and function is great probably one of the best mouse I've used. It's lighter than the razor just by a few grams moves nice and accurate. I found during this month It took about 3 days to a full week to get used to just had to adjust my grip since there was no place to rest for my pinky since its tapered profile at the back end. I had to do two adjust must one was change my ring and pinky to kind of move in toward the mouse like a claw grip second is tilting the mouse rear outward a little so that new grip sits comfortably on the mouse. I also found kind of a con on my razer the scroll wheel can tilt right or left to scroll side ways. On the hyperx for a total lose of a good reason they decieded to give you a tilting mouse but only to the right why? completely baffles me either have the function or don't why go half way?

this mouse has definitely impressed me with its capabilities and how good it is for its price. the RGB light is fantastic and the mouse has great build quality. overall a very good Mouse, and you shouldn't buy a really expensive mouse because before this mouse I had a razer mamba mouse and it wasn't worth it since it didn't have the RGB and the build quality wasn't as good.

Last week i managed to snap up the HyperX Alloy Elite RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, for only £62.50 on a day only deal within the black Friday 2 week deals(ruddy bargain!) on Amazon, so i also needed a new mouse so ordered the HyperX Pulsefire Surge RGB Gaming Mouse for £29.99 aswell. Luckily for me the lead from the keyboard just went to the back of where my PC is situated, and even more luckily for me the Elite keyboard comes with a USB pass through so i was able to plug the mouse into that!, with everything working AOK, phew!. I had a play around with the mouse settings that is quit easy to suss out but i wanted to change the colour to match my PC set up colour(anal i know lol). After going to the HyperX site it forced me to download the HyperX NGenuity app from the Web store ?. Anyway i did that but discovered that this app needs to open ALL the time for the chosen settings to work(there is no way for the app to let you save the settings on the mouses memory ?). Anyway part 2 - I then went back to the HyperX site to get the HyperX NGenuity exe program for my Elite keyboard and to my de-lite i noticed i can change all the colours/settings for the mouse in there as well. So i got red of the stupid "app" version and just used the exe one. For the keyboard and mouse i can now set the 3 option types to my liking and they both save the info in its own memory!. As you can see by the 2 pics i have one for showing off the colour wave light show, and the other purple and green to match my PC RGB when looking through the glass side window. Love the button on the top to change the DPI speed right away and also holding the same button plus a click of the wheel or the side buttons to change the saved RGB combo/brightness(after setting them up with NGenuity before of coarse). I am waiting for a big mouse matt but it glides so smooth on the desk top and the pointer on the screen is so precise with the movement(even at the top DPI 3200, amazing) A easy 5 STARS, frikken AWESOME!

I used to have a Logitech g303 which was about 90 grams and the tracking on that was bad as It was so light it would keep slipping, I played at 800dpi and 0.085 x and y on fortnite. I decided to go for a heavier mouse and I chose this. It’s aesthetically amazing aswell.!
