That is correct. Or you can have a locksmith change the pins on the ignition or the door, but that is 3 locks bs 1.

Any way to get a matching door lock cylinder? (without having the locksmith do it)

I actually changed the locks and ignition key to match with a kit I got off of eBay. That I was able to do myself.

Do you have to re learn the new keys to the ecu

I didn't have to do that for my 1998 CRV. I recommend dropping the steering column to gain better access for removal and replacement. Sounds complicated but it's not. Search YouTube for a video on how to do that .
