I was very happy with this set of grommets. They worked nicely for a princess corset/vest. They were easy to put on with clear instructions and all the tools I need.

Nice set. Comes with setting tool. Wish the ring was able to be set smoother, as it crimps in a way that lets the material stick out from between the two pieces, and the ring doesn't sit fully flush after crimping. It feels a bit sharp when your finger rubs over the back of the grommet. Otherwise it's a nice set with good color selection and a good price for the number of grommets included.

I love, love, love this kit. I haven't had any problems with them. If I might suggest is start out with a few light taps just enough to set the grommet. Then stop, take a look at it being sure it is set correctly. Reinstall the hardware and tap again alittle more forceful but not too hard. Tap about 4 times. This has worked for me perfectly. Good luck and dont give up. It takes alittle bit of practice

This kit is great and easy to use, but unfortunately the back of the grommets won’t seal to the front on my leather tab. I am guessing the size of fabric/leather is too thick. So now I need to figure out if a different size will work. I’m adding grommets to a Longchamp Pliage as a reference for the fabric/leather width.

I used to use grommet pliers. No more. You have a hammer in your hand to punch a hole in your fabric? Why not just use it to hammer a grommet with this very easy to use kit? The hole punch has a nice open channel on the side that ejects plugs as you hammer away. Insert the strike plate spindle through the hole, set the grommet on the strike plate and washer over the spindle. The post that you use to strike feels nicely weighted and is pretty fool proof and the grommets set tight and snuggly. The set includes grommets in five finishes that will match most needs. Now I feel like grommeting everything.

Good assortment and quality for the price. If you're using fabric do not punch holes - use a awl!

This looked like a good deal at first because of the different colors of the metal furniture that comes in this set. However, when I used the tool to install them, half of the rings would bend terribly, no matter how carefully I would align and hit the tool. It makes the result look cheap, and the distorted rings get sharp edges that scratch the cord when I get it through the holes. I was able to smooth out the sharp edges with a screwdriver just enough to get the cord through, but it's an unnecessary hassle that could be avoided if only this set was of better quality. I'm now also in doubt about how reliable these will be as time goes on since the back of the ring is so distorted.
