This is my first projector and overall, I’m really happy with it—especially for the price. The picture quality is surprisingly sharp in a dark room, and I love that it works well on both walls and ceilings. It’s lightweight and easy to move, so it’s great for movie nights with the kids or even camping.That said, the remote is definitely glitchy. I put in fresh, name-brand batteries and it still jumps around or doesn’t respond sometimes. I even tried using the app as a remote, but that was also buggy—had to switch to mouse mode just to click things.A few other things to know:The power cord is short, so you’ll probably want an extension cord.The fan is a little loud, and it does get warm, but not too bad—and once your movie starts, you mostly tune it out.I thought I could just project on any wall, but you do need to plan your space. Light fixtures, pictures, and shelves can get in the way. I had to take down a photo and still deal with a ceiling light blocking part of the image. I’m now considering buying a basic projector screen to get a cleaner view.You’ll also want a stable stand or surface—stacked books work, but a tripod would be more convenient.Bottom line: not perfect, but totally worth it for the price. If you’re looking for something fun and easy to use (once it’s set up), this is a solid choice. Just be ready for a few quirks.
