Nice product. Easy to use easy to clean. Possibly a little smaller than you would think. I am hatching large duck eggs and there is not room for 12 large duck eggs. That said smaller duck eggs or chicken eggs would be fine. Eggs from different rows must not touch as the front of one row and the back of the next row are moving in different directions and contact will interfere with the rotation. The rollers work on electronic timers, how many minutes between rotations and how many seconds the rollers rotate for. The default is rotations every 90 minutes and rotating for 200 seconds. Both of these values can be changed to suit your eggs. A push button allows the eggs to rotate for the preset time to allow you to see if they are rotating as you require. Eggs rotate very slowly, so without a mark on the egg you will think they are not rotating. Humidity is controlled by squirting a little water through a small hole and allowing it to evaporate. Egg rotation is stopped by simply lifting the rollers out. Not sure if you can do it by setting the rollers out duration to Zero. Heat loss would be a problem if the incubator were used on its own. The incubator arrives in a cardboard box and is held in a inner polystyrene which is ideal for keeping the heat in and still allow viewing of the eggs at the front. All in all a good product at a very reasonable price.

The joys of a partner with ADHD, a homeschooled child and amazon doing same day delivery on incubators! What should have been breakfast after a night shift and drive by a local farm on way home turned into an education project. Three weeks later, two sleepless nights and a little bit of stress later and we have 4 baby ducks (from a box of 12 eggs). The incubator was really easy to use and, despite being cheap, was of good quality. It was compact enough that we could put it on a bedside table for oversight in the last few days. Function wise, it has readers for temp and humidity, these drop and alarm quickly when opening to candle and we aren't 100% sure this didn't impact hatch rate as we started pippibg at 19days. We weren't however aware when the eggs were laid and if they had been blooded already, breed or age of the duck hens laying etc. 12 eggs started in there, 9 appeared fertilised at day 6, 6 went through to week 2 but one stopped movibg and veins regracted, 5 made it to he final days and one didn't make it through hatching. We had to help a couple due to malpositioning but the ones that are through are generally healthy and strong. Humidity and temperature may have contributed to this so it may be worth having another hydrometer and thermometer in there to cross check. Overall, well worthwhile.

We bought this incubator for our first attempt at hatching eggs. We bought 10 fertile eggs offline and hatched 2 successfully. Had more have hatched I would give this 5 stars. My son who is 11 found it easy to use, and kept it in his bedroom the entire time- nice and quiet. The temperature remained stable, however humidity would drop quickly and require topping up in the night (an alarm will sound to alert you which is helpful). There is a printable hatching tracker on their website which we used to count down the days. I would say this is good value for money as an entry level incubator, we have 2 healthy chickens now and my son loved the experience.

I have had this set up 2 days now and the humidity is a nightmare trying to keep it at 50 does not happen. It drops to 35 after two hours having to check it every two hours just to make sure the humidity stops dropping. :(

So far so good we are currently on day 8 with no problems so definitely would buy again and definitely recommend for anyone wanting to start hatching eggs 🐣🐣🐣

For the price it is reasonable I guess. It arrived with missing parts which was unfortunate. Then the one that did work was very inconsistent at actually hatching. I couldn't believe the difference in hatch rate when I upgraded to a proper incubator but that does mean spending proper money. If this is just a project for you and the kids to mess about with this will do fine. If you plan on actually surviving off this, the hatch rate matters to you and wasted eggs bothers you then this is definitely not for you. Temp control seems to be easy to manage but I can only imagine from what I have seen from the eggs that it isn't evenly distributed. Value for money- well it is cheap so you get what you pay for. Humidity control easy to set up but a bit of a pain not having an auto feed for it. Hatch rate - for me I class this as downright dreadful and expected better. I could have got the same from a heat lamp and a bowl of water in a box.

Update: After leaving this review, I was contacted by the company who have apologised and explained that the incubator is likely faulty. They have offered a full refund. I can’t fault the customer service, especially as I didn’t even take the time to complain, only leave a review to warn others. I would still suggest running it for a few days before putting eggs in and monitoring the temperature/humidity with a separate thermometer, just to avoid the issues we have had. But overall, I am still a happy customer. Original review: I guess you get what you pay for, but unfortunately the temperature control and humidity control are terrible on this. I put a separate temperature and humidity sensor in and it showed a huge contrast with the readings from the incubator. We had six fertile eggs, all started growing, but now with four days to go we only have two as the rest all stopped growing at various points. I’m really disappointed and wish I had just opted for a more expensive incubator.

It was EGGsellent! In just 21 days these little beauties were made. Incubator worked well, even after a few hours with no electric! Which was a big worry but Google said the eggs would be ok and here's the proof! They are currently nesting on me now, at just over two weeks old 🙂 It has been fun and I've donated the Incubator to my local Wildlfe Rescue. I found my mobile phone torch worked better than the built in candler though. All in all, very pleased 🐥🐥

Luftfuktigheten hålls inte trots att vi ställt in den. Det krävs väldigt lite vatten för att den ska nå 70% när den ska ligga runt 50%. Det innebär att det inte finns mycket marginal att hinna fylla på om du fyller så lite att luftfuktigheten inte når över 55 %. Vi bara hoppas på att kläckningen ska bli lyckad ändå och hoppas att den inte varit uppe på högre som vi inte märkt. Så fort vår höna går i ruv ska hon få ruva klart äggen som tagit sig. Sladden är störande som hänger ner på äggen, jag är lite orolig att den ska klämmas mellan äggen och skada dem när de snurrar. I övrigt bra lampa, tydlig display, lätt att ställa in, bra instruktioner med bra bilder. Den skulle kunna varit så bra om den bara höll vad den lovade!

Leider ging der Brüter zurück weil der Motor für die Wendehorde nicht funktionierte, sowas kann passieren ist aber auch ein wenig ärgerlich wegen des Aufwands d Rücksendung. Allerdings hat mich das Gerät überzeugt zumal auch ein ( einmaliges Preis- Leistungs Verhältnis). Weiterhin habe ich die Themperaturanzeige mit einem sehr genauen Thermometer, speziell für Brutgeräte verglichen ( Meßbereich von 32°- 42° +/- 0,1°) und habe hier eine sehr geringe Abweichung von 0,1° bis 0,3° zum Gerät beobachten können. Diese Differenz ist völlig normal und ist der Heizung geschuldet, die anspringt wenn der eingestellte Wert unterschritten wird. Den Fühler vom zusätzlichen Thermometer konnte ich sehr einfach durch das kleine schon vorhandene Lüftungsloch im Deckel durchstecken und so auch Höhe des vorhandenen Fühlers bringen. Auch die Luftfeutigkeit lässt sich gut regulieren drei seperate Kammern, von denen zwei von aussen zu befüllen sind. Hier sollte man durch probieren die richtige Menge zu befüllen. Die Fläche macht die Verdunstung aus, nicht die Tiefe des Wassers. Tipp : mit einer Heißklebepistole kann man die Flächen s.g. verkleinern und mini Dämme errichten, denn vollflächig Wasser einzulassen lässt die Luftfeutigkeit zu hoch ansteigen. . Sehr hilfreich, wie ich durch ausprobieren rausgefunden habe, ist der Boden eines joghurtbechers (vom griechischem joghurt, pefekte Größe ). Diesen auf 15 mm kürzen, so passt dieser auch unter das Sieb in die Wasserbehälter und stört oben die Wendehorde nicht. Der runde kleine feste Behälter am Boden des Getätes bringt, allein befüllt 50% RH mit dem Joghurtbecherboden zusammen 70% RH. Insgesamt, hat mich die stabile, gute Verarbeitung überzeugt. Nun nur noch warten, auf das hoffentlich voll funktionierende Gerät. 2. Gerät ist angekommen, wie immer sehr schnell. Der Wendemechanismus funktionier sehr gut muss aber in der Zeit der Drehung angepasst werden. Sonst landen die Eier in der ursprünglichen Position, wäre dann nur ein Eierkarussel und keine Wende. Nun steht dem Brüten nichts mehr im Wege. Eindeutige Kaufempfehlung !!
