Is it possible to record 4k video without the 360 feature?

Well just take it out and use the phone camera 🙄

It will only work with the Essential Phone. It has two pins that connect to the two pins on the back of the phone

how to take 360° photos without including myself?

Prop it on something or mount on a tripod with phone adapter (must be able to mount vertically without interfering with the camera connection). There is a 2 sec. or 10 sec. shutter delay option that you select at the top of the screen. Run and hide!!! Alternatively, you can edit the photo with Photoshop to black-out or blur the bottom of the image (where you appear).
