Doesn’t work as designed.

This wire worked great. Most of the K-type thermocouples come in 2M or 3M which was not long enough for my application. I use the PID controllers as displays for water temp in my equipment. This wire along with the same seller's K Type mini connectors allowed me to use the thermocouples I purchased and have a disconnect under the dash.

Excellent quality and service. Arrived perfectly.

Its easy to remove the outer cover.

Note that this stranded wire is primarily designed to be used as extension wire for standard thermocouple wire because its thermal response matches thermocouple wire only over a limited range (see product description). It can be used as a thermocouple as long as the user knows that outside the specified range there will start to be significant errors in the temperature reading.
