Works very well for journaling
These are fantastic journals. Been using them for a little over 10 years now - the pages hold the ink well and do not bleed through despite my using a fountain pen, there's an index in the front, you can get blank or lined pages, the pages are numbered (saves me having to do it myself), good size folder in the back, all very well put together, good quality to cost ratio, they hold up very well. I started getting these after Moleskin sold out and cheapened the quality of their paper & covers while at the same time elevating their prices. The value of these has remained consistent for over a decade now. The one change I always make is to pull off the handy strap meant to keep it closed, then tie it into a loop, so that I can both hold it shut while also strapping my pen to the pages between the covers - which I find much more handy. My only complaint with this most recent one is with Amazon for sending me a color I didn't order - but I don't really care too much, I'm annoyed, but it doesn't impact function or use (just why have a color selection only to send one that wasn't an option in that color selection?).

My favorite BuJo journal
I've been buying the Leuchtturm1917 hardcover journal - dotted with numbered pages - for several years, every since I started keeping a BuJo. I am totally pleased with the quality and usability of these journals. They hold up beautifully for the entire time they're in use, from the first page to the last. They're not the cheapest I found, but they fulfill my needs and look (and feel) good while they're doing it. I experimented until I found pens that worked well for me and didn't bleed through. On occasion, I'll use a different pen that might show some bleed-through, but that's rare for me and so it doesn't bother me. I don't like bleed-through, so this is an important issue for me. When I get a new pen, I test it for bleed-through on a page I've set aside for that purpose. That works for me. I'm happy with my Leuchtturm1917s.

The BEST
Hands down my favorite brand of notebooks. Great quality, no bleed paper. String back pocket. I am rough on these and use them for my daily “brain” and another for personal journal. I’ve never had an issue and the elastic has never stretched out or broken. I usually buy these from company website in order to get personalized. But purchased on Amazon this time for a color the company was out of stock. My favorite. Have probably purchased over 50 of them over the years.

Love!
The best junk journal notebook! I glue and tape and stick all sorts of junk to these pages, and I’m so happy with the notebook. I do have to glue two pages together to increase the paper thickness, but I think this is to be expected with a notebook like this. The cover color is beautiful, too!

My favorite notebook for journaling with fountain pens
After trying different types of paper from Rhodia to Midori MD, I keep coming back to Leuchtturm. I like the slight texture of the paper - using mostly broad and double broad nibs in fountain pens, they often gloss over the coated Rhodia paper, feeling unpleasant. Midori was nice, but it is very VERY sensitive to hand oils or any form of touches. Leuchtturm has a balance of everything I need. I experience ghosting - but I enjoy ghosting in my journals. Dot grid is light enough to not bother me, but dark enough to help guide my writing. I use mostly Iroshizuku inks and even with double broad nibs this has not been an issue - I rarely if ever get bleeding. And I love the lilac color. Fits perfectly into the clear Midori A5 cover, looks stunning! Glad to finally find a journaling combo that works for me.

Precioso color, casa con el bolígrafo de la marca. El papel no es rh o dia, pero con lápiz y Bolígrafo estupendo. Llevo ya muchos cuadernos de diario llenos.
