I travel a lot and happened to be back in the US for the first time in awhile so I took this opportunity to get another hair clipper. I have other Wahl clippers but all are several years old as Wahl clipper just seem never to stop working. I have a Wahl clipper from when I was a child that's still working and I've picked up a few more since then usually at times when I was traveling and didn't bring my clippers and needed one. However, I decided to get a cordless clipper this time as that'd be easier for traveling. I also needed universal power so I didn't have to carry around a large power adaptor or worry at all about the power input of the clipper--most of the older Wahl's seem to be single power input and won't switch. Wahl has always been just fine but I am not one fixated on brand so I'll get what ever I think is the best. I did some research online and found one page online which seemed to have good information about a lot of different clippers. I looked up additional information on all the ones they recommended. I was surprised they didn't recommend "1" Wahl clipper. Seemed strangely odd as this is the only company I remember from when I was a child and I was surprised they couldn't even recommend "one" from Wahl. After some thought I decided that I should go over the line-up the Wahl had. Money was no issue as I was set on getting the best cordless clipper available regardless of the brand or price--I just wanted the best as this would be something I knew I'd use for many years to come. I understood that I probably would be sacrificing some power for cordless portability and I was ok with that realization, but otherwise I wanted a quality clipper. Finally decided upon this one after looking at probably every clipper on the market that I could find out information about online. Ordered and It quickly arrived and I was just as impressed as I had anticipated. You can read the description to find out everything about this clipper as it is as the description says. I love the different attachments, the ease of cleaning (which I don't think they pointed out clear enough), the very compact size which is perfect for traveling, long battery life, and the look / design of it. The feel is very nice although I think it feels a bit too small in the hand although I am probably just use to larger clippers so I am sure I'll get use to it in time. The stainless steel design is nice looking but feels a bit like it might slip from my hands too easily. They do offer a rubberized version but I feared that over time the rubber part of that would be worn off or ratty looking or be more difficult to clean so I went with a more long term choice with this one. The power adaptor on this is universal and adjusts power depending upon the power input. Very important for me as before I had to select the correct clipper power input according to what country I was traveling to. This one will work anywhere in the world. Very important for me. Now the best part about sticking to Wahl. I have heard their customer service is great, but I never had to use it until now. They messed up and sent 2 of the detailer adaptors and omitted the nose trimmer which I wanted. I called Wahl directly using the phone number provided with the clippers and the lady answering the phone was way beyond nice and helpful. She quickly got my information and said they'd send the missing item via Priority mail at no cost. 2 days latter it was here. It wasn't just the fact that they took care of the problem, but she was sooooo nice, helpful, and also didn't ask me a lot of unneeded questions. The service reminded me of the type of service Apple use to be known for. I understand mistakes happen. Not only just the possibility of getting a wrong accessory but even though they test all items I am sure it's possible to get a defective item. Sh*t happens. But the piece of mind knowing that Wahl will very quickly and professionally take care of any problem is such a nice bonus that I will NEVER even think about buy any other brand and I will recommend this company to anyone looking for a clipper. This company has been around for a long time, is an American company (important for me), and has American quality customer service but not just that but top quality American style customer service. I could tell just by talking to the lady on the phone that they obviously train their customer service staff very good and give them the power and authority to "just take care of problems" instead of having to get stuff approved. She had my problem solved so fast and the missing item at my house very quickly. Other minor things. I also liked the small size of the power adaptor, the very stylish holder for the clipper (surprised they didn't show that in the ad as it's very nice and is stainless steal holder). Almost perfect little item. I always like to think about what I would change if I had designed a product. If I can't think of much I then know it's a great product. With this there are the issues about the small size and the feeling that I might drop it, but those are things I probably wouldn't change as I think I'll get use to them and the trade-off might not be work it if those things were changed. Yet, I would like to have an adjustable blade instead of having to use all the attachments. Adjustable like the larger Wahl clippers. Probably more difficult to design for that with the small size of this unit but that's about the only thing I can think of that I believe is realistic and would improve this almost perfect item. More power of course, but I knew it wouldn't be as powerful as a larger corded clipper, yet I understand this is not a realistic request of a small battery operated clipper. Furthermore, it is as powerful as I anticipated. It cuts my hair just fine (not at easy as my larger corded Wahls, but satisfactorily enough that it works and I don't think I'll feel the need to use my other clippers. I am a Black man also with thick difficult to cut hair and it works fine for me so should work for anyone. I can not recommend this item, their other items and company more.

Amazing, Solid, Quiet, Well Made, Comfortable to use, Great Trimmer! Just a well built precision tool, works great. Made in the USA!!! Comes with many accessories. For this price point, I can not touch anything else close to this quality. Buy it, it will last for years, and has a 5 year warranty, plus you can send it in to be repaired, no need to throw it in a landfill! I wish more products were as good as this.

I was in desperate need of a good trimmer/clipper. This looks and feels like a top-quality clipper. I can't believe the price. This is a good size and not super heavy. Many adjustments to be had. Lots of combs to choose from. However, the are a bit tricky to get on at first, but I got it now. The shave head is very smooth and no skin irritation. Perfect! The shaver is also not real buzzy. I've had some that are good quality, but will make your hand numb. Not the case here. Great

Very very sharp and will cut hair with ease. What I don’t like is how cheep the hair links adjusters are made and the head itself is made with plastic components. I expect better from this company. Also I do like the size of the handle as it fits well in my hand unfortunately it is not water proof so clean up is a pain in the azz

Gives a clean shave everytime with relatively little fuss, it also comes with a good array of other heads to use in case the default head causes too much discomfort. The cut quality is pretty good, and it is fairly silent. It came fully charged and with a head already on.

I can't rate it below 1 or I would. The cord to charge the razor is a flash drive plug in, not a three prong plug that goes into an electric plug. I've never seen a flash drive plug in a bathroom. My house is 6 years old and uses three prong outlets. So now I have to either buy a plug for my outlet that has a flash drive charger or charge it using my computer. Don't buy anything from WAHL.

The trimmer itself works really well: solid build, powerful motor, and plenty of attachments. No complaints about the actual performance. However, the product photo clearly shows that it comes with a USB-A charging cable, and mine arrived with only a wall plug and no USB cable included. I reached out to Wahl support to resolve the issue, but unfortunately I never received a response. I expected better customer service, especially when the advertised accessories don’t match what comes in the box. If you get the full kit as shown, it’s a great trimmer. Just be aware that some boxes seem to ship with different charging accessories, and getting support from Wahl may be hit or miss. UPDATED: Changed my rating to five because wahl got back to me and are sending me the correct charging cable free of charge. Thank you to the wahl team for making this right.

I had a Wahl Lithium Ion All-in-One Beard Trimmer for Men - Black/ Silver Model 9888-600 before purchasing this one. Not only is the Wahl stainless steel lithium ion a much better, quieter and professional trimmer/shaver, the attachments from my 9888-600 are interchangeable with this new model.

Whal Service team says product purchased from Color Papers is not Covered under service bcoz Color paper is not authorised to sale this products. We are facing lot of issues becoz of this situation

Me pasé horas buscando una solución para mantenimiento de barba que tuviera un cabezal superior para el rasurado. Aposté por la marca Wahl porque ya tuve uno y sirvió fenomenal, cosa que no sorprende porque un fabricante que da garantía de por vida (solo valido en EEUU pero bueno!) se esta tomando la calidad en serio. La unidad en mano se siente robusta, da confianza. Es cosa seria comparada con unas remington de plástico que tenia (que no me gustaron en absoluto) y trabaja mejor que una Cruzer 5. Los acabados que deja son muy buenos (para el resurado con un par de pasadas ya esta uno terminando) y es se maneja con naturalidad. Solo que no se puede usar mientras esté enchufado, pero francamente quien quiere lidiar con cables en la cara mientras se rasura? Lo único que faltaba es una mesita para acomodar los cabezales que uno usa a diario pero bueno, esto es un detalle sin importancia. También me pesa que Amazon le haya bajado 400 pesos desde que lo compré, pero bueno, valió la pena y lo recomiendo ampliamente

This battery-operated clipper/razor is by far the best-of-its-kind. I travel on a bicycle for months at a time, so that's why such a kit is VERY important to me. I need something small, which means a tool that can handle BOTH a clipper's job for my hair and a razor that works as good as a normal standalone razor. I tried many solutions which were all unsatisfactory, which broke, which had a razor head that was way too small, that was plastic, that was too big or only worked on 115 volts and so on. THIS FANTASTIC KIT FROM WAHL was a game changer for me. Everything is just PERFECT, or at least 95% perfect. If I want to be real tough on them, I could say a variable depth of cut handle on the clipper itself would have been a plus, instead of "only" all the varying plastic adapters, but it's a really minor point. The exceptional things about this clipper/razor kit are: -metal construction, it's tough and perfect for the demands of the road travelling in my bicycle bag! -battery operated. -works both 115v and 240v so it's world ready! I tried both in Spain and Canada. -super small. -full-width razor head! (nobody else has that, as far as I know) -quite silent. -comes with all the clipper heads you can ever want. -even has a really beautiful holder. -when holding it in your hand, you really feel the solid build of this thing. It's unique! -easy to change the various heads and adapters. Cons: -is not waterproof (the head must be removed to be washed) -needs to be unplugged before being able to pull the razor from the holder IF it was plugged and charging. I don't write so many reviews of product, but I was just too excited about this product which is far ahead of any alternative on the Internet and any of those I've tried. I'm also writing this a few weeks after receiving the product so I've had enough time to use it. A bit shout out to WAHL's designers for this great product - I immediately noticed the attention given to the design. I fully recommend this product and if it would ever breaks, I will buy it back immediately.

Tiene excelente calidad, la batería sí dura lo que el producto promete (hasta ahora). Es ligeramente pesado, lo cual para mi está muy bien, hace que se sienta un producto de calidad. El primer día se me cayó por menso y no sufrió ningún raspón, la T Blade como si nada! El aditamento para rasurar sí rasura al raz. Los peines más chicos sirven perfectos para barba y cuerpo sin lastimar en lo absoluto.
