I bought this 2-pack of adapters specifically to connect my dual-monitor setup to my new desktop tower. When it comes to connectivity, I always prefer going with well-known, reputable brands like UGREEN instead of generic options, and they certainly didn't disappoint, The build quality on these is top-notch. The aluminum casings feel incredibly premium and durable, and they fit snugly into the ports without any annoying wiggling. Performance-wise, they worked instantly right out of the box—true plug-and-play.

Perfect adapters — they just work every time with no issues. Solid build and reliable connection, exactly what you want from something like this. My only “problem” is I tend to misplace them when I need one, but they’re so affordable that I just keep buying extras to have on hand. Great value and totally dependable.

The adapters work very well I use one on a retro gaming mini computer and I've had no problems with the adapter and the resolution is great.

This did seem to work fine in using a DisplayPort output to an HDMI-only monitor on one computer. However, I tried it with another computer (since you get two adapters) and it did not work on that one. That may be a firmware problem or something else. Still, it certainly worked in one use case.

One thing you can always count on is that a monitor you hope to use isn't the right type for the video card in the machine or the monitor you are going to use. It makes great sense to cover your bases by having a set of these oh hand in the event you should need them. The other things that seem to go hand in hand with computers is the part you need is always at a store that's closed or out of stock. The price and quality of these adapters serve to provide a good piece for of mind. I was nt able to tell any difference in video quality and are of the most commonly used used in today's machines and monitors. Obviously very simple to use and provide excellent connectivity for money well spent.

My dad had a new monitor that had both HDMI and that Direct Video as connections on the back. The HDMI connections did not allow audio to come out of the monitor speakers and I'm a computer scientist and troubleshooter, so it didn't make sense bc I tested the cables and they worked find on other monitors and my dad's laptop. I checked all the settings and everything was correct. So I began looking for adapters to try the included cable for the Direct Video that came with the monitor. I found this on Amazon and it seemed a perfect fit. It ensured audio would work and it had a ton of great reviews claiming to fix thr exact same problem we were having no cap. I mean literally same problems. So it came and I know my dad's a civil engineer so he is smart enough to figure out how to use an adapter and let him have it. He ended up breaking his HDMI cable on it because it was such a stiff fit, it would not easily slide back out. So it broke coming out. Well, that's a faux pas! Moving on, I got him a newer HDMI cable and we tested it and it worked on other devices even audio, but it didn't do audio for the ko itor even when the settings switched it to the monitor audio. So he tried the adapter on this, and it fit better but it still didn't give him audio like the other HDMI cable didn't. So the Direct Video cable was easily the last cable to try, and no that didn't work either. So IDK what's up people? It seemed the right match and in the reviews other people had the exact issues we had and this supposedly was Thee Solution. But not for us. It's still up in my dad's room, and IDK what he is going to do with it, but I'm going to probably have to take over and try it again. It has the latest drivers and everything. What could it possibly be if it's the right software and the correct cable and adapter? No cable needs firmware, and I swear the monitor should not need firmware out of the box as it was a xmas gift to him so he could have multiple monitors which he has all the time usually as he works for a government contractor company and always busy like that. So this shouldn't be happening. The only difference is that this is a gaming mo itor that's really sweet and bends around the peripheral to give great imagery to the one in the hot seat. But it's been a pain. I mean yes, you can use the laptop speakers, but they're low quality, and my dad only has lame speakers and this gaming monitor is supposed to have some pretty lit speakers, so that's why we are trying so hard. This adapter had us really hyped at one point, but now, I don't know where the problem could be. Advice? Just kidding.

This pack of 4 DP > HDMI adapters has been great for me in day-to-day use. The simple plug and play converters work without any fuss, which is great for quick setups and when troubleshooting. Most of my uses have been standard office setups, temporary installs and troubleshooting. Performance has been perfect at 1080p@60, with a clean and stable signal and no visible flicker or drops. I'm led to understand this can go higher and faster, but I haven't tested this. The build quality is what I'd expect from UGREEN, with their high quality metal chassis and compact design. These do lack the DisplayPort latch - for permanent setups, I'd say this is a negative. But for my IT work this is perfect and makes it an incredibly useful addition to my toolkit, where we are moving cables constantly. I have had no issues with compatibility or connectivity. They just work as designed and expected - connecting to GPUs and monitors with no trouble. For £16 for 4 at the time of review, this is a great, high quality purchase at a good price.
