Vollrath 13-1/2" High Temperature Spatula,White

Shout out to a previous reviewer who works in the restaurant industry who said he likes this spatula compared to the curved Rubbermaid because of the sure grip which means he doesn't need to think about where he needs to place his hands working at a fast pace. At 63 I just discovered this spatula and my Rubbermaid spatulas and Tovolo mixing spoons will now go to Goodwill. I used my new Vollrath spatula tonight for the first time browning hamburger and the handle and grip stood out to me. I liked the solid grip and moved around the meat so easily my ground beef browned the soonest it ever has. Having a couple minutes left until the rest of my dinner finished I placed it on top of my pan and really liked how it didn't get warm compared to the stainless steel handles of my Tovolo utensils. I have the smaller 10 inch spatula coming tomorrow but after this first experience may reach for this longer one every time. As an average home cook who has some mileage under his belt using various utensils this Vollrath spatula stands out from the crowd. It has my highest recommendation.

Brilliant. Pricey. I can't seem to melt it, even with my appealing domestic skills. This will last five lifetimes (good value) and is great for omelettes, scrambled eggs, and other stuff you cook on the stove. On the tip, part is curved so it's great for scraping out batter from a bowl or eggs from a round pan. Brilliant. They come in small, medium, and hilariously enormous. Made in USA. And extremely sturdy and ergonomic.

I have worked as a pastry chef for many years and absolutely love these spatulas. They do not shed and are dishwasher safe. They scrape cake batter filled bowls perfectly and are perfect for getting into the nooks and crannys of odd shaped containers. I love that the handle is nice and long, keeping my hands free from getting dirty. These are great quality tools that will last for quite a while. I would recommend to novice and professional bakers alike.

I've used this several times making candy at consistent higher temps and have yet to have a problem. It feels so sturdy, like I'll be passing this on to my grandchildren one day sturdy.

This is a super-sized spatula, easily reaches the bottom of a Vitamix or 5 qt stick pot. These are professional-grade tools.

I have used spats like this for years in restaurants and knew I was going to buy some at some point for home. So when I started at a different restaurant they only had what I call "garbage spats" because they are cheap, flimsy, poor quality spatulas. I bought this one and it's fantastic! Highly recommended.
