Really Useful Boxes(R) Plastic Storage Box, 32 Liters, 12in.H x 14in.W x 19in.D, Clear, 32C

Although the Really Useful Box US company is constantly back ordered on the 64l and the 32l, (they are apparently setting up US manufacturing instead of relying on shipping from England where they are made). We swear by these boxes, they stack well, they handle a good deal of weight, they have shapes for any need from files to wrapping paper to nuts & bowls drawers to oversized for linens/sleeping bags etc. We own more than 500 of these bins, and they have held up for years. They are clear so you can see everything at a glance, they hold a label well. The Amazon supplier Office Depot has been the most reliable source. Recently for a whole house and office move Ginni at Office Depot went ABOVE and BEYOND when the 64s were backordered to get us the 32s quite literally as the movers pulled into to move us. Thank you Ginni. Only caveat is don't drop the tops from a height because the edges can crack.

Sturdy plastic. Worth it for me.

I was previously using a heavy "fire resistant" safe to store my documents. After the locking mechanism bent/broke, and the keys were starting to bend/fall apart, I realized (after looking closer at the fire ratings) that the weight wasn't worth the limited protection. The fire safe would really only be good enough for me to wake up, realize my house is burning, run outside, choose to run BACK inside to save my documents, and get out. In reality, I'm not going to do that, and my documents are going to be long gone. It'd be easier for me to pick up a much, much lighter bin on my way out. Cue: The really useful box filing bin. This thing is light, the handles lock positively, and it's spacious and you can see into the thing. Really, that's all that you need to know. The holders for the filing tabs is nice, I don't consider this to be water resistant, so uh, keep it out of the water. It's pretty expensive, but IMO very worth it. I think this makes a lot more sense than the folding cardboard banker's boxes.

Great box. Have several. Last for years. I store kids pics and papers from school over the years. So sturdy, great seal, easy to stack.

In my search for the perfect minimalist filing system, after having gone through many different kinds of file cabinets, I finally got a couple of these things. They cost a little more, but I absolutely love them. They are more than just your average plastic file box.. they are extra sturdy, have the side rails for files, and they’re easy to move, store, and stack. And…. they won’t break.

Dang, sure did arrive fast! Got it in a day! So, happy about that. It seems to be sturdy. Only thing is it arrived and one of the corners were broken off. They probably should package the product better for shipping. But, not a huge deal breaker for me. It’s exactly what I need and fits all my personal files.

Perfect size and perfect fit. We are now handling my elderly mother-in-laws bills and important business and started out keeping her paperwork in a portable file storage box. Which worked fine in the beginning, but as time goes on there is a natural tendency for the amount to increase and that personal size box became too crowded to file in unless I removed a hanging file or two, filed the newest paperwork and then returned the hanging file in their spot. Because we want to keep any paperwork pertaining to her finances my need for a larger storage container became necessary. I read some of the negative reviews about the sides bowing inward making hanging files sit crooked or not at all, but I figured as the container became fuller that would force the sides to stand more straight and ordered this one anyway. I was very pleased when the box arrived as it was undamaged (some reviewers commented on boxes arriving chipped or broken), but also I was pleased that it did NOT have bowing sides. The sides were perfectly strainght and all of the files hang correctly. I am very pleased with this porchase. I would order this item again.

Far superior to those cardboard bankers boxes. These are super strong and stackable as high as you want. And, they accommodate both regular and legal size hanging folders. On top of all that is a very reasonable price.
