Sooo soft. Very easy to work with. I'm a beginner on a sewing machine (used this in my first ever sewing project) and was able to easily back a little blanket with it. Not too thick to sew through even for me. The quality is decent. There's a tiny bit of rolling after cutting but again I'm new so that may be user's error. The baby blue is very nice. I have also purchased pink, black, and green and they're all very pretty.

I bought this material to make a set of "luxury" burp cloths for a friend’s baby shower. I usually buy fabric in person so I can feel it first, but I took a gamble on this Minky and I’m so glad I did. If you’ve ever used cheap minky that sheds like a husky in summer, you’ll be happy to know this is much higher quality. The "Maker" Breakdown: • Softness: It is incredibly plush. One side has that classic "dimple" texture that stays soft even after a pre-wash. I backed it with a heavy organic cotton flannel, and it makes for the most absorbent, softest burp cloth ever. • The Shedding Factor: Anyone who sews with minky knows the "minky confetti" struggle. While the raw edges shed a little bit when you first cut it (totally normal), it didn't leave my sewing room looking like a snowstorm. • Durability: I put my test scrap through a heavy hot-water wash and a high-heat dry just to see if the "dots" would disappear or if the fabric would pill. It came out looking exactly the same. No shrinkage, no fading. • Ease of Use: If you’re a beginner, just a tip: use lots of pins or clips! Minky is famously slippery, but this specific brand has a nice weight to it that made it easier to feed through my machine than the super-thin stuff. Things to keep in mind: • Heat Sensitivity: Don’t iron this directly! I made the mistake of touching a corner with a warm iron and it flattened the dimples slightly. Use steam or iron from the cotton side only. • Size: The cut was generous and the edges were straight, which I really appreciated. No jagged "end of the bolt" hack jobs here. The Verdict: This is perfect for baby gear. It’s gentle enough for newborn skin but tough enough to handle the 50+ washes a burp cloth is going to go through. I’ll definitely be ordering more for the matching baby blanket.

I bought this for a contractor of mine who just had a baby—my wife made a blanket using this cute baby Highland cows fabric, and he absolutely loved it. The print is adorable and the fabric was soft, so no complaints there. However, my wife wasn’t thrilled with how it arrived. While the measurements were technically correct, the two pieces we ordered were cut in completely different shapes, which made it harder to line up and sew together. It added an unexpected step she wouldn’t have dealt with if buying in-store. So while it looks great once finished, we probably won’t be ordering fabric online again unless we’re in a pinch.

Color seems a little lighter than shown but still a sage green overall. Fabric is thin but should make a nice quilt backing.

This piece of material came in a bag inside of a cardboard box. It was delivered in a fair amount of time and was packaged fine. This is nice fabric, but not the best fabric. The Minky I purchased at the fabric store is much more beautiful, plush and soft. But this is a nice Low pile, semi-soft fabric. The blue color is really beautiful and the Dot pattern is deep and stands out from the fabric. I personally like my Minky a lot softer, but this is a very nice fabric so far. I have not washed it yet, but it seems pretty sturdy and a decent quality. The price was comparable to the Sale prices at the fabric store. Overall, it was a decent purchase.
