Highly recommend
Saltyboost has a salty taste of electrolytes that I had to get used to, but I really grew to like it. Sometimes I only add half a sachet to a liter bottle during my workout. I feel that it helps support my endurance during long exercise sessions. I also feel that I recover better and wake up energized in the morning. I believe this product will become a must-have for me during hot weather.

Light citrus flavour
I've tried a couple of different flavours of these now and all are nice in my opinion, this one has a light citrus flavour. I like using these as it makes water a lot more palatable so I tend to add to 1litre to drink over the day but you could dilute in a smaller volume to drink faster eg after exercise Flavour is not too strong and i didnt find any salty aftertaste although i do prefer it quite diluted Great value for pack size, convenient to have in pocket or bag

Great boost for your day
**Flavor and Taste:** The first thing I noticed was the flavor. The salty citrus taste is quite unique compared to other electrolyte mixes I’ve tried, which often lean toward overly sweet or artificial flavors. Ultra Lyte strikes a good balance; it’s refreshing without being overpowering. The saltiness adds a savory twist that makes it easier to consume during long workouts without the cloying sweetness that can sometimes lead to palate fatigue. **Ingredients:** What truly sets SaltyBoost apart is its ingredient profile. This drink mix is sugar-free, which is a significant plus for anyone watching their sugar intake. With high sodium levels, it’s designed to replenish lost electrolytes effectively, especially during sweaty sessions. The inclusion of trace minerals and coconut water enhances its hydrating properties, making it a solid choice for recovery. **Performance:** I tested the mix during a few long runs and high-intensity workouts. I found that it helped to stave off dehydration and cramping effectively. I noticed less muscle fatigue and more endurance during my workouts when I used the SaltyBoost mix. It’s evident that the combination of sodium and other electrolytes plays a crucial role in maintaining hydration levels and performance. **Convenience:** The packaging is also quite convenient. Each sachet is easy to carry and mix, making it perfect for on-the-go hydration. Whether you’re at the gym, on a hike, or just need a quick rehydration boost, these sachets are easy to throw in your bag. **Drawbacks:** The only downside I found was that the salty flavor might not be for everyone. If you prefer sweet beverages, the initial taste might take some getting used to. Additionally, those on a low-sodium diet should approach this product with caution due to its high sodium content. **Conclusion:** Overall, the Ultra Lyte SaltyBoost Drink Mix is an excellent hydration option for fitness enthusiasts and anyone needing a reliable electrolyte source. With its sugar-free formulation, unique flavor, and effective hydration benefits, it’s worth considering for anyone serious about their hydration and wellness routine. Just keep in mind your personal taste preferences and dietary needs. I’ll definitely be incorporating it into my routine for the foreseeable future!

Only if you love salt
If you really need a boost then take it but even really diluted and mixed with another drink it is far too salty for me

Easy Mix, Good electolytes, Some unkowns, tastes good. Good for trips, lots of waste packing
These simple easy mix sachets are good to take on trips etc, but do cause a lot of single use packing waste. They mixture of electrolytes seems good, and you can mix to varying strengths, but the taste for this sort of thing is actually really nice without being overly sweet or otherwise sickly. The main issue I have is that being an American food product, it has some odd ingredients that sound chemically and unknown - the sort of junk US food has but is not allowed in Europe and other more advanced coountries than US. Thats a real shame - if they removed all the stuff that not electrolytes and natural flavourings, then it would be 4*, but with the unknowns then its not ideal. Its also very expensive at £19 (Dec '24) for just 24 imo.

Sugar-Free Salty Citrus Electrolytes Powder
Disclaimer: This is a comprehensive, unbiased review that is not influenced or paid for by any company or individual. The opinions expressed here are solely based on factual information related to the product. Product Review: SaltyBoost Drink Mix - 12 Sachets - Sugar-Free Salty Citrus Electrolytes Powder The SaltyBoost Drink Mix claims to provide a boost of electrolytes with a sugar-free, salty citrus flavor. However, while it may deliver on its promise of hydration, the overall experience isn’t exactly refreshing. Flavor: The salty citrus flavor is an acquired taste. The saltiness might feel off-putting to some, and the citrus isn’t as prominent as expected. If you're used to sweeter electrolyte drinks, this one might not be to your liking. It's definitely not a “refreshing” flavor — it's more about functional hydration than enjoyable taste. Performance: The electrolytes in the drink mix seem to do their job well enough. After consuming it, there’s a noticeable improvement in hydration levels, especially during intense workouts or after a long day. It’s designed to replenish electrolytes without the sugar, making it a good choice for those looking to avoid added sugars in their sports drinks. Convenience: The 12 sachets are easy to carry around, and the powder dissolves fairly well in water. It's a convenient option for on-the-go hydration, whether at the gym, during outdoor activities, or after a long day of work. The sachets are a good size for single servings, which makes them easy to use without the need to measure or deal with bulky bottles. Final Thoughts: The SaltyBoost Drink Mix does its job in terms of hydration and electrolytes, but the salty citrus flavor might be off-putting for many. If you’re looking for a sugar-free, electrolyte-focused drink that works well but don’t mind an unconventional taste, this might be worth trying. For those who prioritize flavor and sweetness, though, there are better alternatives out there.
