L'Oréal Paris Superior Preference Permanent Hair Color, Medium Golden Brown 5G

I have been using this brand for years. I only have to touch up my hair every 4 weeks. The color, Medium Golden Brown, looks great on me and I always get compliments from family & friends. My hair looks shine after colored and it doesn’t dry my hair.

I am a fan of the entire L'oreal Preferece line, having tried most of the competig products over the past 20 years, including Clairol, Garnier, and even other L'oreal lines (excellence and Feria). The Prefernce line is minimally stinky, not runny, and gives consistent color results every time I uses it. The 5g is one of my go-to colors: a true medium brown with no brass.

I've used Lioresal Preference for many years. Other store brands do not compare. I've tried so many over the years that fade or turn my hair orange and this maintains color longer. The initial darkness fades after a wash or two but then it's good til my hair grows out and then I apply another half kit.

The 5g color came out darker than other L Oreal hair colors that are labeled 5g. Shipped via USPS which dose not notify of delivery

I used this the first time I decided to dye my hair alone at home and it was not difficult at all to use (and I have super long wavy hair). I wanted to darken my hair and it did work well. The smell is quite intense, I chocked a few times to be honest, but overall it is a good product.
