My reptile seems to enjoy digging in it, and it helps the enclosure stay cleaner and more like their natural habitat. Pros: holds humidity well, looks natural, great for reptiles that like to dig. Cons: can be a little messy and sometimes sticks to things when it’s damp.

it does exactly what it needs to do. i mixed this with another soil option and a little portion of sand. this felt fresh and perfect for the mixture.
