It is very comfortable and looks extremely nice. It was shipped in a timely manner in two boxes. It was easy to assemble. The only thing that I questioned, was the way the black futon mattress is anchored together with black stitching only. Usually, I've seen this finished off with a button, but not on this futon. It doesn't look bad without the button and may actually be better for purposes of comfortability. It's still a quality, comfortable alternative to a bed, for my college-aged son to use while on breaks. This futton mattress is actually thick and cushiony. It's unlikely to flatten out like some others. It is easy to put together and looks nice. The mattress is a bit firm and it is a little hard to lift up from a bed back to a couch. Alot of the pieces came in scratched, covered in a white film and a sticker that left a sticky residue. The futon mattress wont stay on the frame. It keeps sliding off. The futon also is very top heavy and it starts to slide. I contacted the company, they sent me a link on how to put the futon together and pretty much told me to rebuild because it was my fault. I hired someone to build it, I watched him build. He did it right. Like the other reviews, it does take two people to put it back upright.
