These shorts are amazing! I have always had sensitive skin and worn all natural cotton fabrics. Recently I began picking up strong fragrances on my cotton clothes that would not wash out when getting physical therapy. Looking for a material that does not readily absorb odors I opted for these shirts and shorts. All I can say is, wow! 1. They are so light and comfortable it's almost like wearing nothing. 2. They are cool to wear. I am in a hot and muggy climate and felt immeasurably cooler going out in these than if I'd worn my cotton shirt and shorts. 3. They are stretchy so they don't choke you when sitting or squatting. 4. It lays/hangs really nice when it's on. The waist band is not choking tight like other shorts and it has nice long drawstrings. 5. The colors are great. I got the black this time, but plan to get other colors. 6. They washed with ease and, yay, they can be tumble dried. 7. There are two pockets that are nice and deep that you'd barely know are there... not bulky. 8. The prices is good too! I'll be buying more! Great for the gym, physical therapy, walking, running errands, and casual wear.

These men’s athletic shorts are true to size and fit just as expected. They are comfortable for everyday wear, workouts, or relaxing. The material feels lightweight but still durable, and they hold up well in the wash. They allow for easy movement and seem well made for the price. Overall, a great pair of shorts that do exactly what they’re supposed to do. Very satisfied with this purchase.

The first pair I ordered several years ago fit me great. The waistbands felt snug without having to tie the drawstrings, even carrying my wallet and keys in each pocket. The material felt comfortable, is breathable, dries easily, and doesn't inhibit movement. I liked them a lot, so I ordered a second pair on sale on Prime Day. Unfortunately, something changed in the manufacturing process. My new pair doesn't fit as well although I ordered the same size as the previous pair. The waistbands fit much more loosely and my waistline hasn't shrunken. The drawstrings definitely need to be tied even if nothing is in the pockets. Also, the material snags more easily. I'm not as happy with this new pair, but I'd recommend them if you can get them at a deep discount.

For the purposes of this review, I'm going to compare these shorts Amazon Essentials (size XL) to my old faithful Reebok poly/mesh oversize L from 2018 (RN117927) That have lasted more than 8 years. My only recommendation is to recognize that today's "loose fit" is pretty true to size for today's shrinking sizes. Exactly one size smaller that the normally oversized American cuts from a decade ago. These are a very comfy bargain. Fabric type: and quality is almost identical. Amazon is slightly lighter in weight. Both soft poly/mesh with smooth interior. Sizing: Oversize Reebok L is identical to Amazon XL. Interior Waistband thickness: is 1/4" wider on the Reebok (Amazon 1/4" thinner) Not bad at all. Interior pockets: are identical. Interior drawstrings: Amazon are wider and contrasting color to find and tie more easily! Length and width: Identical. Price: Amazon Essentials are priced about 50% less for a nearly identical product.

So i recently came across these shorts. As a bigger guy its hard to find shorts that not only fit well but are actually comfortable. These shorts fit perfectly and are without a doubt the most comfortable pair of shorts i own. These will be my new go to shorts for as long as you keep them in stock. The thickness of the material is just right and they are much more durable than most the clothing Walmart has. I don't have to worry about when they need to be worn because they are discreet and comfortable enough to be worn for almost any occasion with 2 pockets one on each side. What i like the most about them is when i am sitting down on a chair they dont rise up above my knees they go over the knees just enough to make it right.

I'm a big dude and these fit me perfectly. A little loose actually. Can be washed several times without deteriorating on you. They won't last u for 10 yrs haha, but you'll get a few yrs outta them before they start falling apart, for the price I say there worth it

Auch in der Big-&-Tall-Version sitzen sie locker und bequem, ohne komisch zu spannen. Das Material ist leicht, atmungsaktiv und trocknet schnell – perfekt für Training, Joggen oder Fitnessstudio, aber auch einfach zum Entspannen zuhause. Selbst bei längeren Einheiten bleiben die Shorts angenehm zu tragen, weil sie Feuchtigkeit gut ableiten und nicht schwer werden. Praktisch finde ich auch die Taschen, in denen man Schlüssel oder das Handy verstauen kann. Der elastische Bund mit Kordelzug sorgt dafür, dass die Shorts sicher sitzen und man sie individuell anpassen kann. Die Verarbeitung wirkt ordentlich: keine losen Nähte, sauber vernäht und robust genug, um viele Waschgänge problemlos zu überstehen. Auch nach mehreren Runden in der Waschmaschine behalten die Shorts Form und Farbe. Im 2er-Pack ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis wirklich stark. Für den Preis bekommt man zwei vielseitig einsetzbare Shorts, die man sowohl beim Sport als auch in der Freizeit tragen kann. Die Lieferung über Amazon war schnell und ordentlich verpackt. Fazit: Bequem, funktional und preiswert – genau das, was man sich von guten Funktionsshorts erwartet. Klare Empfehlung!

Actually pretty good - I was happily surprised. Needed a good wash first to get rid of a plastic chemical smell, otherwise a great buy.

Hubby LOVES these shorts. Thanks me every day for buying them for him. He says they are so comfy and cool.

I purchased these shorts with low expectations but was surprised to find that they are well-constructed with decent material, very comfortable, and most importantly they fit well. The moisture wicking properties and breathability of the fabric are amazing to have in the summer heat.
