Having the laptop display in a vertical position just like a desktop monitor is wonderful! This option greatly reduces user strain for me. The variable tilt positions of the stand allows the keyboard to be positioned in a way that all keys are viewable at the same time. The price is very affordable compared to others. I tried the stand with several different laptop computers and a couple of larger Workstation portables (HP and Lenovo brands). The only problem I found was with one workstation model which had a slanted bottom edge. That didn't work well with the Stand's rounded edges at the bottom. That one model was somewhat unstable with this BESIGN stand but all others that I tried were very stable!

Simple, functional, compact, and clean appearance. Exactly as advertised and makes elevating the laptop screen to a higher point really easy. It helps with neck and shoulder strain.

It is an ok product just not strong enough to hold a 26-17 in computer

I bought this for my MacBook air because it tends to overheat and will shut off when it gets too hot. When I have my laptop on top of this stand I can do 1 hour+ meetings on it and it won't shut off. It's a really small and lightweight stand and is sturdy enough for my MacBook. I love that it folds up really small too so I can easily put it away when people are over, and it adjusts to many different heights. It's just what I was looking for and works well. I would highly recommend this little stand.

This product is exceptional and works as intended

Flimsy Build and Awkward to Use I wanted to like this stand because the idea is great—lightweight, adjustable, and supposedly portable—but in practice it has more drawbacks than benefits for me. The plastic feels thin and a bit fragile, so I’m never fully confident it will hold up to long-term use. Setting it up isn’t smooth; opening it takes more effort than it should, and the hinges feel stiff yet not particularly sturdy. Once open, balancing my laptop on it can be awkward. The surface doesn’t feel entirely stable, and I often find myself adjusting the laptop to keep it from shifting. The design seems better suited for smaller, lighter laptops rather than anything on the heavier side. Portability is okay—it’s light enough to throw in a bag—but I wouldn’t travel with it often for fear it could crack or warp. Bottom line: if you need a stand for occasional, light-duty use, it can work. But for daily use or heavier laptops, I’d look for something sturdier and easier to set up.

This is a MUST have for your laptop case gadgets. It's slim, compact, and has a sweet design to it. HOWEVER, it is made out of plastic. Which means that you wanna set your laptop on it gingerly when using it. Don't just whack your laptop on top of it. I don't know if making this riser out of some kind of metal would be difficult or just not cost effective. I paid under 7 bucks for this, but I'd pay quadruple that for this sweet, compact tool in a lightweight metal. PS, if you do keep it in your laptop case, I recommend leaving the riser in its little box. You can just slip it in with your laptop, no big hardship. This will help prevent accidentally bending, cracking, or breaking the riser under the weight of your laptop; or even just dropping the case.

A little flimsy but does what it is supposed to do, no issues after daily use.
