Men's Bugaboot III

I purchased the Columbia Men's Bugaboot III for a brutal winter season filled with deep snow, slush, and freezing temperatures, and they have completely exceeded my expectations. Finding a winter boot that balances maximum insulation with actual hiking comfort can be difficult, but Columbia absolutely nailed it with this design. The weather protection is top-tier. The combination of the waterproof leather upper and the injection-molded rubber shell keeps your feet completely bone-dry, even when wading through heavy, wet slush or deep snowdrifts. Inside, the 200g insulation punches way above its weight class. I have worn these in sub-zero temperatures with just a standard pair of wool socks, and my toes stayed completely toasty without overheating or sweating. On the comfort side, the Techlite midsole provides fantastic cushioning and shock absorption, making them feel more like a supportive hiking boot than a clunky snow boot. The Omni-Grip rubber outsole delivers incredible traction, digging into icy trails and packed snow to keep you stable and sure-footed. They do run a little bit small and narrow in the toe box, so I highly recommend ordering a half-size up or opting for the wide version if you plan to wear thick winter socks. If you want an indestructible winter boot that saves your feet from the bitter cold, this is the best value on the market.

This is my second pair of Bugaboot III, they last for years. These boots are very durable, great in snow and hold their shape year after year. They are waterproof and have decent insulation. You will want to wear another pair of socks when it drops below 15-20 degrees. I found my feet were cold after several hours of weather in the teens. They were not freezing, but they were pretty cold. As boots go, they are pretty light. There is extra weight, but less than other boots I have owned. I find Columbia's boots to be a great value for the money. It might be more upfront, but will out last any of the less expensive brands.

This is the go to winter boot for us. Comfortable great longevity and the perfect amount of ankle support. We live up by Canada in the Northeast and they're always warm and dry.

We love these boots. They are incredibly warm and have a nice lace up design of snow can get in. My son is excited to wear these because while he has very large feet, they don’t look like they are giant! Very warm though.

Agree with recommendation to size up. Run small. Husband typically a size 10, purchased 11.5 and glad I did . Fit well with medium weight socks, tried out first time blowing snow for few hours and he says they are warm and comfortable, and feet stay dry. His only slight complaint is the lack of hooks for laces which make it easier to snug up but for the price that’s a minor issue, but it is why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars

Excellent boots, it fit my son great and it is super warm and keeps your feet dry. They are very durable and slip resistant. They have a great weight to them and is very reasonably priced.

Well my wife bought these boots for me as a Christmas present, I have other Columbia hiking boots I’ve been buying for years so she took the size directly off those Columbia boots and ordered these boots. Well today I tried them on, not with winter socks like you’d think someone would wear for winter boots but just regular daily wear socks. Well by the time I wedged my foot in these things I knew something was way off. My toes were mashed against the front of the boot and the sides of my feet were being squeezed together. Ok, I stand up and NOPE! No point in even attempting a step. OBVIOUSLY these are sized extremely small. The label says US 11W but also says EU44 which is much closer to 9.5-10 US. That seems to be a more accurate sizing. So I go back to do an exchange for the next size up and SURPRISE! None available in a larger size. So next option is get the boot in a different color, well there’s only one option and the next size up is over $30 more. So for the inconvenience of ordering Columbia boots in the exact same size of the Columbia boots I have now I get to return these boots and either pay $30 for the exact same boot in a larger size in a different color or spend the time to return these and have no boots. Good thing we’re getting 6-10 inches of snow tonight. These are going BACK and Columbia you lost a good customer!

Perfect! I bought them skeptically because my other pairs of shoes didn't last me more than 3 months. This is my second pair; the previous one lasted me two winters. Comfortable and warm in temperatures down to -0°F.

Ils sont vraiment bons pour le moment puisque je les ai juste mis deux fois pour la chasse. Temps un peu pluvieux mais pas vraiment froid pour tester leur efficacité. Ils ont l’air bien chauds et léger aussi

My 11 year old said these boots are warm, good on ice, and keep his feet dry. I had to size up when ordering these boots (1 size bigger).

Best winter boots I've had in a long time. Highly recommended but be prepared for their stiffness for a few days. No over-sweating, kept dry and warm. Perfect for Canadian winters.
