Atomic Fireballs Candy, 5 Pound Bulk Bag

I love this candy and been eating it for decades. I was down to eating the knock off ones as it was getting harder to find the original ones in stores. I'm so glad I found it in bulk on Amazon! These are the true Atomic Fire Balls. They are a true jawbreaker, staying hard to the center. These are the smaller ones, 3/4", which I don't mind. One thing I do find buying in large batches is the inconsistency of "heat" in each of the balls. Some will be really hot (which I love) and some will be mild. I don't mind this as the overall taste of the candy is good (unlike the knock offs), but l do admit, I would love if they all had the same "fire"!

Atomic Fireballs are a true candy classic for spice lovers and hard candy lovers. These are absolutely delicious and lower in calories as well for those who are trying to lose weight while still enjoying sweet treats that they love! It certainly isn't the hottest candy, but the taste is superb and it has enough spice to make you tear up a bit if you pop 2-3 in at a time. You can pop one of these in when you are intermittent fasting too, to help with the hunger pangs.

These are my hubbys favorite candy from his youth. He loves that he always has them in his candy dish now. The best part is that the grand kiddos always eat all his candies but these are too hot for them so they leave them alone. My husband loves to share but secretly he likes that these are "just for him". lol Great value for the price and they taste just like the originals. They're a bit smaller but not enough to mention.

I bought these for filling a candy bowl for the students at my college. The candy in the bowl must be individually wrapped, which these are. These candies are also very powerfully flavored (hot cinnamon) and long lasting (think jawbreakers), which is useful for subtly encouraging each student to take only one. Some people take one look at the color and name, realize they will not like it, and do not take one. But most people are either familiar with these from childhood or brave enough to try, and they like them. I tried one myself and they are exactly as I remember, but will not have any more because I am too tempted to try to crunch them and my dentist would not be happy about that. (Or alternatively, maybe she would like the extra business if I cracked my teeth. Just kidding. My dentist is too nice for that.) Altogether a great purchase for a candy bowl.

Love em’! Nice and fresh. Price was reasonable. The grocery store where I used to live sold them in bulk at $1.99/lb. or $1.59/lb. if I caught them on sale. ****New addition to my previous review***** I’ve ordered these 3 times from the same seller. My first 2 orders were wonderful (although the second order had a mix of large and small sizes within the same package). My third order was horribly stale. After the outer layer (where all the hot is) had dissolved (in a VERY short time) the inner portion just crumbled. Unfortunately, I was outside the return limit when I realized the entire batch was bad. I’m undecided if I’ll order again seeing as I’ll be throwing away 5 lbs. *****Another addition to my previous review******* I did buy these again, for a fourth time. They were either stale or there was a manufacturing problem. The centers were, again, crumbly - like soft powder. This isn’t “normal” fir ant type fire ball. These are the only ones I’ve ever had that did this and it was only two bags our of four.

If you like atomic fireballs, these will last you a long time. They seems to be smaller than I'm used to and although they have some heat, the heat doesn't last too long. I might or might not buy them again. I'm not disappointed, but I just might want a larger, hotter one next time. They are individually wrapped. About half of the candies were not a vibrant red like I am used to - they were kinda a faded red with white 'dustiness' in appearance. Not sure if that means they are old or just the way they are.

5-lb bulk bag of Atomic Fireball candy from Ferrara Company. Not many people buy a candy to be punished by it. That is, unless its an Atomic Fireball. No one buys this jaw breaker for its sweet taste. They want it for that nasty, caustic burn of cinnamon that will strip the inside of your cheeks raw and bring tears to your eyes. They want murder in their mouth, chaos beyond the gum line, a 5-bell alarm prairie fire that'll turn your mouth red while you're forced to stop reading that stupid book you'd thought you cuddle with while sucking on this monster. From here on out, I buy Ferrara. According to Wikipedia, Ferrara bought the Atomic Fireball rights. Which makes me wonder who are all the other companies out there pedaling the Atomic Fireball name. Anyway, I can highly recommend the Ferrara brand based on my experience. The first one I popped into my mouth it went in sweet and I thought, "Oh, good grief, I'm stuck with a 5-pound bag of sugar." But then the fire kicked in. Give it a shot!

Love Atomic Fireballs, so I was glad they showed up as a suggestion on some purchase I made. I purchased them and the same cinnamon flavor I've loved with Atomic Fireballs. Come in a package as shown. One of the sub-reviews is giftable. Not really. The candy is marked, so separated from the bag (in a gift bag or basket), great, but the bag really isn't a presentation beauty. Great flavored candy. Seemed to be a reasonable price to me, and I've really enjoyed them. Admittedly, five pounds should last you a while!

These are delicious and spicy cinnamon treats! It’s impressive how hot a cinnamon candy can be. Love these, and will definitely buy again once I run out!

These are my favourite candies I’ve ever had, used to buy them for 25 cents each at the carnival but with Covid being a thing I couldn’t find them anywhere. The price in my opinion is great! An just wait until you open the box.. the amazing smell of cinnamon punch’s you in the nose lol I highly recommend if you love hot cinnamon candy!! Tho they are very hot and very addictive!!! so be careful haha

Hotter than I anticipated - I was thinking more candy hearts but they hit the spot.

in the past 3 days I have eaten about 10 of these and I can officaly say i have no feeling in my mouth........... Other then that! These things are amazing! Delious layers you start off with a light cinniomon that graduates into this overwhelming heat and before you know it your back to a sweet cinimon flavour. But dont kid your self round 2!! As the heat comes back you start to sweat a bit but keep pushing through. Its perfectly painfully delicious! And when you finnaily reach the end of this rollercoaster you will find your self a nice ball of sweet cinimon to bite into and enjoy the last few crunchs.
