Review: Find out your needs. - Had E*ro devices. Have a large yard with many IOT devices. The Eero couldn't handle it. Eero has amazing WiFi 6 and its mesh is fantastic. However it has one major flaw. You have zero control over the network functionality. Step into the world of Ubiquiti. I had an Edge 4 router doing the heavy lifting. Now I've ditched the Edge (more of an enterprise product) for the world of UniFi. I recommend this system 10000%. My internet provider was failing numerous times throughout the day. Now I can track these outages and actually troubleshoot my system. Back to the UniFi. Look up some videos on it... it's amazing. You will have to bite the bullet and spend a couple bucks to get your system up and running correctly but it's dope. I have the gateway, 1 managed switch and 4 access points. Everything works perfectly. The iOS app is fantastic and the web interface is clean and easy to manage. The gateway itself it small and has a few ports that can be configured for VLANs etc. incredibly powerful little machine. I bought the 512GB model which will offer some NVR capability when I upgrade to Ubiquiti cameras. Unfortunately the NVR is only compatible with Ubiquiti cameras. Would 10/10 buy again. Review: The near perfect small business gateway - I bought this at the recommendation of my company's director of IT, for my wife's new book store. I know my way around networking pretty well, and I have a firewalla at home. The Ubiquiti is so much easier to administer and honestly a cheaper price than my Firewalla Gold. It has solid features for a small business such as captive portal which is extremely customizable ( I recommend getting a cert for it though, as otherwise it shows as http or triggers trust warnings), and the web console is perfect for our needs. Because it can run the full Ubiquiti stack, it can be used as an NVR when paired with Ubiquiti cameras. The logs are easy to parse and being able to see what the usage flow is over the course of time will help us see another metric of how many people are in the shop and when. Overall this is a wonderful tool and I when it comes time to replace my home firewall, I will go with Ubiquiti. ## Features - Includes full UniFi application suite for device management - Manages 30+ UniFi devices and 300+ clients - 1.5 Gbps routing with IDS/IPS - Multi-WAN load balancing - No Storage - 512 GB - 1TB - 2TB NVMe SSD storage for NVR - 0.96" LCM status display - USB-C powered (adapter included) ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0DFWMVX37 | | Best Sellers Rank | #1,616 in Computers & Accessories ( See Top 100 in Computers & Accessories ) #75 in Computer Routers | | Brand | Ubiquiti Networks | | Built-In Media | Hardware kit, power cable | | Compatible Devices | Personal Computer | | Connectivity Technology | Ethernet | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 202 Reviews | | Hard Disk Size | 1 TB | | Hard-Drive Size | 1 TB | | Manufacturer | Ubiquiti Networks | | Memory Storage Capacity | 1000 GB | | Model Number | UCG-Max | | Number of Channels | 32 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Software Update Supported to Date | unknown | | Total Usb Ports | 2 | | UPC | 810084696460 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Video Input | USB | | Warranty Description | 6 months Manufacturer | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Ubiquiti Networks - **Compatible Devices:** Personal Computer - **Connectivity Technology:** Ethernet - **Hard Disk Size:** 1 TB - **Memory Storage Capacity:** 1000 GB ## Images ![Ubiquiti Cloud Gateway Max - (UCG-Max) (1TB) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31gMxJvTuQL.jpg) ![Ubiquiti Cloud Gateway Max - (UCG-Max) (1TB) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31FDgquLTaL.jpg) ![Ubiquiti Cloud Gateway Max - (UCG-Max) (1TB) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31TX7tYUCuL.jpg) ![Ubiquiti Cloud Gateway Max - (UCG-Max) (1TB) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31BdhOqH+HL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Find out your needs. *by E***N on February 9, 2026* Had E*ro devices. I like it! It wasn't too hard to set up. I think it seems to do a good bit of the setup itself. I like that design of this system. My stuff is on my stuff, not up on a cloud. When you want to view the cameras, it connects pretty quickly. I'm switching from Eufy cameras through Apple HomeKit. That system has been getting worse with every “upgrade". It is now very slow to connect. Many times it would say: "not responding". Then it usually captured events after the fact. You would see the people walking away, not up to the camera. The Ubiquiti system allows you to set how many seconds before the motion is captured and how many seconds after the motion is over. There are many other features and adjustments you can set. The app is well designed and best of all, it WORKS! ## Frequently Bought Together - Ubiquiti Cloud Gateway Max - (UCG-Max) (1TB) - Ubiquiti Networks UniFi 7 Pro | WiFi 7 Access Point | US Model | PoE+ Adapter not Included (U7-Pro-US) - Ubiquiti U6+ AP WiFi6 1xGbE PoE 2x2 Dual --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.it/products/678400877-ubiquiti-cloud-gateway-max-ucg-max-1tb](https://www.desertcart.it/products/678400877-ubiquiti-cloud-gateway-max-ucg-max-1tb) --- *Product available on Desertcart Italy* *Store origin: IT* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
