This silly gift is a great way to please a chocolate fan as a stocking stuffer, but it is very expensive for what is in effect a small tube of chocolate spread! Very tasty at least, and of course, purely indulgent to just spray it into your mouth!

The Valonia DR Chocolate Syringe is such a fun treat! It comes in a super cute box with a syringe filled with smooth, high-quality chocolate. It’s a great novelty for both kids and adults. My little one was very excited when I joked that the doctor had prescribed an injection—especially since he hadn’t been feeling well a few days before. At first, he looked a bit concerned, but when he noticed the bright red packaging with a friendly, smiling doctor on it, curiosity took over. He was thrilled to see the liquid chocolate coming out of the syringe! The packaging is well-sealed, which is reassuring, though it did take me a bit of effort to open. The chocolate itself is smooth, tasty, and spreads nicely. I used it to make delicious crepes for the whole family. The only downside is that it comes in a 60g syringe, so it’s more about the fun and taste rather than quantity. But as a treat, it’s definitely worth it

I ordered the Valonia DR Chocolate Syringe Chocolate - Milk and Cocoa Hazelnut Filled Fun Chocolate mostly for my boys, as I knew they’d appreciate the humorous doctor-themed drawing and the chunky syringe design. It’s quite fun to squeeze out the liquid chocolate! The chocolate itself tastes nice and works well as a spread, as it’s smooth and easy to spread. However, the quantity of chocolate is just over 50 grams, so it’s more about the novelty than the quality or amount of chocolate. This would make a quirky gift for someone who’d enjoy the joke of receiving an “injection of chocolate,” but opinions on its humour will vary. Some might find it hilarious and uplifting, while others might be less amused. In my case, it served its purpose as a light-hearted treat

A very high price for a tiny bit of sauce. Barely a portion. Tastes nice though.

Nice hazelnut spread, a lot tastier than nutella, the syringe gimmick is cool and functional, it is very expensive for what you get though.

I get this is a novelty item i just dont really understand it. but i think i may be overthinking it a bit. this is simply a plastic syringe of a chocolate hazelnut spread that is not quite but almost as nice as the leading famous brand of the same ilk. it's slightly changed by whatever they put in it to make it easier to squeeze much like the spreadable butters have in comparison to real butter. you uncap it and then you can squeeze the chocolate out but by design a syringe will create pressure as you squeeze and fluid dynamics will mean the chocolate continues to emerge after you stop squeezing unless you pull the plunger back to stop it. i can't see anyone enjoying eating this whole thing directly from the syringe and it's kind of impossible to share once you do so, so i think it would be best suited for drizzling over pancakes/desserts maybe but at over £7 for 60g it's a very expensive solution to a fairly non-existent problem. kids will find it novel so maybe a treat for birthday breakfast pancakes or something but otherwise just buy 2 jars of normal choco-hazelnut spread and get well over 4x the amount for your money and a slightly nicer product.

The syringe style dispenser and external packing are all nicely made and it’s a fun gift. However the hazelnut spread isn’t the best tasting and has a slight cheap cocoa taste to it. I’m also not a fan that they’ve used hydrogenated fat in the recipe. It is at least fully hydrogenated, but my regular hazelnut spread doesn’t use any hydrogenated fat at all.
