Ordered both the Pro Max+ and the Ultra to compare them side by side. You would think combining a heat and cold element would cause the heating to be at least a bit weaker on the Pro Max+ but actually it was the exact same! I was very surprised they were able to fit all that in a head that's really not that much relatively bigger. I'm impressed with the heating element, the cooling and the overall power of the device. Both devices came with the same attachments, same fast chargers, had the same output of power, same heat level, exact same size and appearance of the body, with the only difference being the Pro Max+ having the additional cooling element in its head. Which for me personally was worth it over the the Ultra. The cooling won't overpower your body heat after a point, but it still performs very well and recools rapidly. As many other reviewers have said, the Theragun is very overpriced in comparison to this. The build quality is amazing, with the matte/texturised finish on the handle. Shockingly easy to hold, the weight is perfect. Heavy enough to show the quality of the build and to really have a deep effect on super stiff muscles. But light enough where it's convenient to use. The ability to rotate for easy reaching is another great bonus. As someone who suffers from very bad soreness in my muscles this was an extremely important purchase. Can't recommend it highly enough!

My Wife and I already have a couple of Massage Guns and we love them. What drew me to this one was the ability to apply Heat and Cold to our deep tissue massages. I honestly was skeptical was ready to return if it was too gimmicky. Long story short, I don't think it's gimmicky. My Wife and I are avid volleyball players. As we've grown older, our bodies require a lot more maintenance than it did when we were younger. Massage guns have been a huge part of that maintenance. Recently, I tweaked my hamstring during a game. It wasn't bad, but enough for me to feel it even when I was sitting. We had an Indoor League Volleyball game coming up and I wasn't feeling great about my hamstring. So I pulled up Gemini and told it I had this Bob and Brad D6 Pro massager, and asked what was the best way to use it to prep my hamstring before the game. Between Gemini and the User Manual, I was able to figure out the correct way to use the Heating head to apply heat to my hamstring during a deep tissue session. After just over 20 minutes, I got ready for my game and my hamstring felt great! I went on to play 3 full games that night and not once did I feel anything on my hamstring. It was miraculous, coming from someone who has gotten good at playing with injuries! Suffice it to say, we're keeping this unit. My conversations with Gemini instructed me to use the Cold head for any new injuries or injuries where I want to keep the swelling down. I haven't had a chance try that out yet, so the jury is out on the Cold capabilities of the gun. But I absolutely love the Heat capabilities already. Plus, there is a whole booklet on how to use the massager for various types of injuries or body maintenance. The Massage Gun itself is an incredible product and very well designed. We love the adjustable head, which allows you to reach areas that a normal massage gun just can't reach like the mid-back and shoulder blades without needing a 2nd person. We also love how quiet the motor is. We normally have to crank up the volume on the TV if we are watching something while we are using a massage gun, but this unit is surprisingly quiet. In terms of quality, the materials and design are top notch. It seems quite durable and there is good power in the motor, as quiet as it is. We love that there are so many modes so you can really fine tune your deep tissue muscle treatments. UPDATE 2/25/26: It turns out that Bob and Brad did include a booklet that gives you information on how to use the Massage Gun. So I am removing the sections in my review that pertain to that missing. Overall we still think this was a great purchase!

The massager I’ve been looking for! I’ve owned many massage guns and wands and this one is without question the best. I’ve had high end expensive, mid range and cheap. They all had one thing in common, disappointing. This unit is well engineered and has excellent amplitude. It’s quiet and the battery life is reasonable. Although the battery doesn’t last as long as some other units I’ve owned I would trade the runtime for performance every time. It might be 20 percent heavier than my version of perfect but it feels perfectly balanced wherever you hold it. The multiple grab angles and adjustable head make finding a comfortable position to work any body part easier than any of the others I have owned. I haven’t owned it long so I cannot speak to longevity. It comes with everything you need to target any muscle with the type massage you want. What pleases me most about this massager is it feels, looks and performs like the professional grade therapeutic tool it is.

Build Quality To start off with, just by holding the massage gun you can tell that it is high quality. The finish is a matte, almost rubberized texture and feels extremely sturdy. Each of different attachments seems very sturdy and solid enough to withstand long term use. The software itself seems pretty basic and does the job, although it helps to read the instructions at first because it may be slightly confusing at first. Features The main feature is the different speeds that you can choose from, ranging from relatively light to quite fast. The variety of speed and therefore pressure is well spread and I found myself switching back and forth between some of the settings as I moved around. The speed change is very responsive and intuitively placed. As mentioned before there are also several diverse attachments, ranging from pinpoint pressure, to a softer one that reminded me of one of those blow up hammers. Personally I only cycled through 3 of them, but it was nice to explore the options. Accessories Along with the main features came several auxiliary accessories, which included charger, cable, carrying case, and some info pamphlets. The case itself is very sturdy, on par with the quality of the massage gun itself. the design is simple and clean. There is also a little baggy to store the extra attachments. The cable and charge brick appear to be some 3rd party accessory, and don't seem to be as high quality. It also would have been nice to have a black cable to match the whole aesthetic but only if I am nit picking. Sound It is tough to record the sound, and I tried to record it on video but may have accidentally destroyed your speakers. It is surprisingly quiet, and I would probably argue that you could use it next to a deep sleeper without waking them up. Maybe a little louder than a loud fan, or something around that. Definitely quiet enough to not really think about it during use. Battery Life I used this everyday the past 3 days, for about 10-20 minutes each time and had over half the battery remaining. I wasn't keeping track very closely but I don't think I will have any issues with running out of battery Overall, an extremely well built, and comparatively well priced massage gun.

I first purchased the Bob and Brad D6 massage gun in Nov. 2024. I use the Bob and Brad D6 massage gun both before going to the gym, and after finishing at the gym, five days a week, and once a day on my two recovery days I am 64 years old and require a lot more warm up and cool down than I once did and this massage gun is a great asset for both these tasks. Each of my massage gun session last about 15 minutes. The Bob and Brad D6 massage gun is an excellent massage gun. The three main things I look for in a quality massage gun are amplitude (the depth or length of the back-and-forth stroke of the percussion massage head which is measured in millimeters (mm), stall force, and how quiet it is. The amplitude is 16mm which is as large as any massage I’ve researched. The Bob and Brad’s D6 massage gun’s stall force, which is the amount of pressure you can apply before the gun stalls is 85 pounds of pressure. The large amplitude combined with high stall force make this gun great for the larger muscles of the legs and buttocks. The Bob and Brad D6 massage gun come with six different message heads I usually only use the Ball, or the pillow for the smaller muscles and sensitive areas but try them all because this will come down to personal preference, and individual needs. Finally given its size and power I’ve found the Bob and Brad D6 massage gun is surprisingly quiet. I researched a lot of massage guns before buying the Bob and Brad D6 massage gun and the only other brand that I could find even close with regards to specs was the Thurogun pro but its stall force was considerably less than the than the Bob and Brad D6 massage gun, and the Thurmond gun pro costs about 2 1/2 times more than the Bob and Brad D6 massage gun. Bob and Brad’ s D6 massage gun offers a two year warranty which is a testament to the company’s faith in this product.k I would like to mention Bob and Brad’s customer service which has been very helpful when I contacted them about both when the gun should be charged and then questions regarding the heads for this product. Based on this review you can obviously see that I have been very impressed with the Bob and Brad D6 professional massage gun and highly recommend it to anyone that is in the market for a powerful high quality message gun.

I bought wall mounts for exercise bands from Bob and Brad a few months ago and was impressed by how thoughtfully they were designed. So when I saw the Bob and Brad D6 Pro Max+ Massage Gun, I decided to try it, and I’m glad I did. It feels well-built with a good, solid weight, includes genuinely useful features, and has worked really well as part of my recovery routine. The ergonomic handle makes it easy to reach awkward areas, and the adjustable arm is a clever design touch that I use more than I expected. The buttons are easy to press, and the display is bright and easy to read. It has a good range of speeds to fit anyone’s preference/tolerance. Personally, I like the higher RPMs, while my wife prefers the lower RPMs. The attachment heads screw in smoothly and stay secure. My everyday favorite is the hollow head with a little “give,” which feels effective without being overly harsh. The hot/cold head is a standout accessory. It truly heats up and cools down (not just slightly), and it’s been great for post-workout soreness and my chronic muscle stiffness. I also appreciate that it charges via higher power USB-C instead of a proprietary plug. The OLED screen even tells you whether your charger has enough power, which is a nice touch. I've been using massagers to help manage widespread chronic pain for over 20 years now. Battery powered massagers have come a long way. The D6 Pro is impressively powerful with a 16mm amplitude and a whopping 85lbs of stall force, so you know it's capeable of penetrating deep into the layers of muscle tissue. It charges pretty fast, around 2 hours, courtesy of the USB C fast charging. And for the average person who's just using it as part of their exercise and recovery routine, the battery will likely last you days between charges,and it should provide ample pain relief and sooth those sore and achy muscles. It is a little hefty in the hand, but that's expected from a wireless massager this powerful. It comes in a nice travel case and I recommend using it. If you were to just toss it into your gym bag, it could get damaged from dropping your bag on the ground. The D6 Pro and other Bob & Brad massagerd periodically go on significant sales on Amazon too, which is really great. If you're working within a budget, save yourself some bucks and buy one when its on sale. (it's got a $60 off coupon as I'm posting this review) The only reason I have not given it 5 stars is because I have had to use the warranty to get a replacement, twice. But it's not because of inferior manufacturing or a cheap build. I literally am NOT your average user. I've been chronically ill for many years and I am in serious pain all day and night long. I've seen other users say they only need to charge their D6 like once a week or so, and I believe it! Its got good, high capacity L-ion batteries. But me, I need to charge it once a day, sometimes twice on REALLY bad days! Im an extreme case. Managing my full-body pain is like a torture test for these massagers! My wife also suffers from chronic pain and uses the D6 as well, but not nearly as much as I am required to use it. Somedays I can't get out of bed until I go through a massage routine! And honestly I've never had another massager hold up as long as this D6! And I've owned similar, and pricier massagers that ended in serious disappointment (Im looking at you HyperVolt 2 Pro). But Bob & Brad really came through for us Not only do they make a pretty darn great massager, they honestly and truly stand by their products. Their customer service is outstanding. They really helped take care of me and even sent me a replacement slightly after the warranty expiration date. I mean these guys REALLY stand by their products. Id give them 10 stars if I could lol. So I say buy with confidence, because it's a good product and you'll be in good hands.

So far I love it. I've owned a theragun pro for 4 years, which I think was $400 on sale, but it was worth it. It was the strongest massager at the time and did wonders for my muscles. It has replaceable batteries, but of course Theragun quit making them, so it was time to move on. Replaceable batteries are awesome and I wish the manufacturers were forced to make these things that way, but that affects their replacement cycle so we are stuck with this. At $200 this is absolutely worth it. It hits hard, and the shoulder and neck areas are just melted into softness. It will probably last much longer, but 2 or 3 years of this would easily justify the price for what it does for me. Thanks for making one so strong. 1 semi negative. This unit does seem more likely to pinch your skin if you're not careful with it. Between the pulsating head and shroud of the unit. And it can give a sting/welt. The hamstring and thighs especially. Yes, this is ALWAYS user error on my part, but it's something to keep in mind. Gotta keep it angled properly at all times. I would still buy it again in a second.

Puessss, no me convence. Al menos para mi uso, que es profesional (soy fisioterapeuta). No es que sea mala, tiene 16 mm de excursión del pistón y aguanta bastante presión, pero es muy incómoda de sujetar y muy pesada. Los cabezales quizás sean lo mejor, buena silicona, aunque el térmico con infrarrojos se queda algo corto en temperatura (no pasa de 40 grados aunque lo dejes estático). Y es frágil, se me acaba de caer de la camilla y se han roto varias pestañas de plástico que sujetaban una de las tapas laterales (las redondas) y lo que es peor, otras dos del compartimento de la batería. Al menos funciona, pero ya tengo excusa para ir a por otra que garantice un uso profesional, que es más cañero y necesita además más ergonomía.

Ich habe zuvor die ältere D6 Pro genutzt und war bereits sehr zufrieden. Mit der neuen D6 Pro/D6 Ultra hat Bob and Brad aber noch einmal ordentlich nachgelegt. Die Massagepistole wirkt hochwertig verarbeitet, liegt trotz ihrer Leistung angenehm in der Hand und hat enorm viel Kraft. Selbst verspannte Muskelpartien im Rücken und an den Beinen lassen sich problemlos behandeln. Besonders positiv finde ich die neuen Schraubaufsätze, die sicher sitzen und sich während der Massage nicht lösen. Ein echtes Highlight ist für mich der Infrarot-Aufsatz. Die Kombination aus kräftiger Massage und angenehmer Wärme fühlt sich hervorragend an und sorgt gerade bei verspannten Muskeln für eine sehr angenehme Behandlung. Ich nutze ihn inzwischen regelmäßig und möchte ihn nicht mehr missen. Der Akku hält lange durch, die Lautstärke ist angenehm niedrig und die verschiedenen Aufsätze bieten für jede Körperregion die passende Lösung. Für mich ist die neue D6 Pro/D6 Ultra eine klare Verbesserung gegenüber dem Vorgängermodell. Wer eine leistungsstarke, hochwertige Massagepistole sucht, macht hier nichts falsch. Da trennt sich der Weizen vom Streu!! Sehr schnelle Lieferung und sehr gut verpackt. Das Preisleistungsverhältniss ist dem Produkt gerechtfertigt und funktioniert einwandfrei sowie problemlos. Sehr gutes Handling aber auch nicht sehr leicht. Man kann aufgrund der variablen Griffhaltung dieses Gerät einhändig oder auch mit zwei Händen bedienen. Top! Wir persönlich haben uns für das Gerät mit dem zusätzlichen Wärmekopf entschieden und haben es nicht bereut. Das Gerät ist im großen und Ganzen sehr gut durchdacht und man merkt die Qualität. Na gut, dass sind meine/ unsere Erfahrungen im Umgang mit diesem Gerät. Für mich persönlich ist dieses Gerät ganz klar Empfehlenswert!!!
