much better to manage a unifi device than the mac or windows app super reliable and keeps great (advanced) stats I use 3 of them in 3 different locations; very happy

I’ve been using this for about 3 months in my home network in the Dominican Republic, and it has exceeded all my expectations. I bought it because I needed a way to control the Wi-Fi extenders in my home through an app, and this has made that very easy. I had it installed, and right away I was impressed with how simple it was to use. The setup appeared to be pretty straightforward, especially if you already understand your own network. Once it was connected, it immediately synced with all of my UniFi equipment without giving me any issues. At first, I thought it was a bit expensive, but after using it, I feel like it was worth the price. It feels very well built, which is what I would expect from this type of product. I would recommend this to anyone who wants better control over their home network, especially if they already use UniFi equipment and want to manage things from an app. Rating: 5 out of 5 stars.

I was not sure I wanted the Unifi controller for my personal network, but I am glad that bought it. It makes managing and optimization easy.

Works flawlessly for the Protect feature, although as a first-time Ubiquiti user I was a bit disappointed in some parts of the admin setup: they were less than intuitive. Someone at UI needs to re-think how they manage the network configuration, too: it doesn't make any sense on being able to change settings on the "default" network or not. Would like to be able to expand beyond a 4TB drive. Looks like there might be an expansion port but havent explored that yet.
