Review: I didn't like it, so why am I giving it 5 stars? - It's very well-made and would probably make many customers quite happy with the purchase, but I had a use for it that Rufus told me wouldn't work -- and he was right. I decided to ignore his AI brain and bought it anyway. Got it today and tossed it out today. i have no use for conventional ice cubes., but if I did have a use for it, this would be the ice cube gizmo I'd want. I didn't return it because there was nothing wrong with it.
Review: Better than the plastic trays - These are much better than the plastic trays. Need to remember, don't fill water to top. Water expands as it freezes. AND....you do need to run the bottom under water before you try to pull the handle back. Some ice might stick....just be patient...and tap LIGHTLY with a meat tenderizer. Nothing is perfect when your ice maker no longer works and you have to make ice the old fashioned way.

These are AWESOME! Keeps the ice bin filled with little effort! Solid tray and ice cracks easily. I haven’t had an ice maker in fridge ever, but recent guests that need ice made having some ice trays a necessity. This met the need without taking up counter space from an icemaker, or adding one to 12yr old fridge! Simple, easy, makes me happy! Super fast delivery!
