Totally cheap construction, plastic bits break off. Unit stopped heating after a year. POC DO NOT BUY.

Great for a sous vide beginner!
Love this sleek addition to my cooking! I am new to sous vide cooking, but this machine made it easy and has a large capacity to cook for a family meal. Everything works as it should, easy to use!

Not good for travel
This is geared toward truckers and travelers that want to sous vide on the go. The lid does not provide a seal even after strapping the lid down. It will drain most of the water in a short period of time. Other than that, it does its job.

Great way to.cook
This is exactly as described, it arrived as promised, appears to be well made, and a good value for the money I just wish they would put a packing slip in the package. This came in the manufacturers packaging ๐ Limited or no single use plastic ๐ No polystyrene foam packing (styrofoam) ๐๐

Product temp range not as advertised.
Doesn't have a range from 105ยฐF as advertized... Useless for yogurts like I had planned to make.

I'm surprised at how many really cool, and easy full meals, can be found for this type of cooking. And to be completely honest, I had never heard of it before. But after using this quite a few times over the past few weeks, I will be using it at least 2 times a week. You start by vacuum sealing your selected dishes into airtight bags. Seasoning with your recipe as needed. And with everything set into the divider tray, out the see through glass top on, set the temp and time, and wait. Once finished, you can quickly seat the meats to give a better colour. But this step is presentation alone. Not necessary. Because the food is thoroughly cooked and extremely juicy and tender. With the flavor completely soaked through the meat. A full four course meal, set for 4 is easily prepared in this. It sets up in seconds, kept on the counter for daily use if you want. And fits into modern kitchen decor very neatly. And while it does have app or BT control, it is a very easy to use, ecconomically efficient and quick way to cook in a busy lifestyle. I consider this a very good value product.

It is super easy to use and the whole process is much simple than I thought. Precise cook. Now, I can make restaurant quality steak at home. It's crispy outside and juicy inside. Absolutely delicious.

Its a cool unit, but it does not circulate the water and the max temp is 195F. Because of the design you cannot overload it either, no circulation, so I can't give it 5 stars. Most sous vide circulate the water, makes it more consistent. But for the price, I cant complain. Id have to spend double to get an independent unit and the container, so you get what you pay for.

Not a real sous vide. This is an electric pot at best! It does not circulate the water at all! Takes 40 mins to get up to temp because no circulation. I cooked a 2 lb roast and 1/2 of it was tough and not cooked evenly which is what a sous vide does best if the water is circulated. I checked temps in the water top and bottom and bottom is hotter than top of the water. The instruction book talks about the machine circulating the water but this doesn't circulate. This will be sufficient if you are only cooking thin items like fish 1" steak or pork chops but not anything thick. I do not recommend this if you want even cooking.
