Worked with my 9800X3D
Even although you're not supposed to because of compatibility issues with some distributionsn of the 9800X3D. I did get this anyway and it did actually hold the delidepd 9800X3D in place with no problem after a little conformal coating to the SMDs

Spreads the heat transfer out and around on an AM5 cpu. Might not make a 10c difference but every degree counts

Works great on my decided 9950x. It's a genuine frame even though it doesn't seem to be a thermal grizzly authorized reseller.

Thermal Grizzly continues to supply some of the best thermal gear on the planet. Owned and operated by Der8auer, the German PC Tech influencer, Thermal Grizzly products represent high quality for the dollar in every single item they sell. This particular brace functions to not only reduced motherboard flex but more importantly it creates a flat surface for high performance cooling no matter what method you use from air to water to a honey pot for OC testing and more! The black mount will barely be visible as the cooler will be attached but I can't help but love the Thermal Grizzly Logo emblazoned across the unit. The fit is tight as it should be and this provides excellent contact for cooling. This high performance unit was able to give me ~5°C temperature drop as compared to without it, which I found to be exceptional and what I have come to expect from Thermal Grizzly. I realize you can buy cheaper alternatives that look mostly the same and do about the same thing, maybe even cost a dollar or two more but I find with the warranty and Thermal Grizzly's excellent reputation for RMA and replacement of faulty products that they are the best way to go over a cheaper, knock off brand. This is the top of the heap.
