Although it's listed as a kids tablet, it's just because of the heavy duty rubber case it's in. I'm using it for myself (and I'm not a kid) and I'm using it for my home automation monitoring and it's nice to be able to carry it around without the fear of dropping it, and the ring kickstand is big enough that I can put my hand through it to be able to carry it or hold onto it while I'm selecting something on the screen. That ring kickstand does rotate so it will stand up the tablet in either the landscape or portrait positions.Installation and Setup:Similar to problems with another tablet I had purchased some time back, an older tablet which was on Android 10, the copy applications mode doesn't work between them, but it did work going from my Android phone to this tablet. It does take some time to do this, so make sure both the tablet and your phone (or another tablet) are both fully charged since connecting them with a USB-C to USB-C cable (which you need to supply one) they will try charging from the fuller one to the less fuller one so it could drain either one down faster.I did have one confusion during the setup in that it prompted me to select either Quickstep or Nova Launcher for the home screen (probably a Android 14 thing). I had never seen this before so I was confused and had to Google this. Just for info to save you from doing this if needed: Quickstep is the default home screen launcher built into most Pixel devices, offering a clean and simple interface with limited customization options, while Nova Launcher is a third-party launcher with significantly more customization features, allowing users to deeply personalize their home screen layout and appearance; essentially, Quickstep prioritizes simplicity while Nova prioritizes extensive customization.Tablet:The padded case is definitely extremely padded and I did find the case pretty hard to take off. Which you have to do just to remove the pre-installed screen protector protection sheet (and it comes with one additional screen protector if needed). Trying to pry off the case cover by using the corners, I found it starting to remove the tablets back cover. Once I saw it doing that I was able to press the back cover back on before continuing to remove the cover.Something I also found was that there was no mention in the manual on where to install a memory SD card. There was an included SD card removal pin but I couldn't find a hole to put it in (do not put it in the Microphone hole and also another hole next to the power button (which I don't know what that hole is). Neither of these are the correct places. Once I was able to get the padded case off, at the top next to the USB jack, there is a little plastic cover that just unclips with your fingernail and only one side raises providing access to the SD memory slot which is just a push in push out slot.Other than just not knowing where the SD memory slot was, the tablet has been great.
