They are battery operated so you are assured of even effortlessly grinding.The price was an Amazon special and that made it even better.I would buy these again even use as practical and attractive gifts that look good on any table.

Works great and easier than manual grinders. I thought they were rechargeable but you have to replace batteries. Have not had the batteries run down yet!!!
