Excellent Charging Cable for VR, Despite Software Limitations
This cable has a great length, which is incredibly useful for staying charged while immersed in gaming, especially with a VR headset like the Quest 3. The included Velcro strap is a thoughtful addition and works really well to help anchor the cable securely to the headset (I personally found it very effective with my Venom Pro strap). It's important to note that while this cable is designed for VR link, the Quest 3's current cable link and software can be quite demanding on VRAM. Because of this, for my specific setup, this cable primarily serves as an excellent charging cable rather than a full-fledged data link. However, this is absolutely no fault of the cable manufacturer, and it performs its core function of keeping the headset charged exceptionally well. If you're looking for a reliable, long charging cable for your VR headset, particularly for sustained gaming sessions, this is a solid choice.

Great cable
Great cable. Bizarrely it charges even without attaching a separate power supply.

Excellent Quality and Performance!
The Maxonar VR Link Cable has been a fantastic addition to my VR setup. The cable is long enough to give me plenty of freedom of movement without any restrictions, and it feels incredibly durable with a nice, flexible design that doesn’t kink or get in the way. I’ve had no issues with signal or latency—it delivers smooth, high-quality video and seamless gameplay every time. The build quality is top-notch, with reinforced connectors that ensure a secure and reliable connection to my headset. It’s also lightweight and doesn’t drag down the experience like some other cables I’ve tried. If you're looking for a high-performance, reliable cable for your VR setup, this one is definitely worth it!

Charging.
This is the second time I have purchased this type of cable, i do not recommend these without doing serious research first, this will not charge via the inline fitting from a normal USB, it may do from a computer, I dont use a computer so I can't say, I'd does state it will charge as you play, it does not state it must be via a computer or it will not charge. Pay attention when reading the facts. this is not good enough.

Good for link but the charger doesn't work well
Good product overall, works well as a link cable, tested as a 3GB/S speed on the quest link test. The only problem im having is that the quest keeps saying that there is water in the charger and the charge feature is temporarily disabled which could possibly mean the charger circuit is faulty but i have no issues with tracking or visuals. I have a quest 3 qnd is working well but haven't used it for more than a day, if anything changes ill either edit or delete this review and make a new one.

Didn’t last long
Broke after 4 weeks and reverted to a usb 2.0 connection. Contacted sender through Amazon and got no response. Was working well up until that point. Have purchased one from another Brand that is giving better speeds to start with. Upgraded to 4 stars after contact from Maxonar directly. They didn’t see my original message and have sent me a replacement cable free of charge.

Very nice looking sturdy link cable. Using it on a quest 3. Thanks to the extra usb type c connection the battery charges even when playing games. Very good purchase!

The cable is very good for the Oculus Quest 2 and it works wonders. 0 lag, fast cable and the power injection allows me to use it for way longer (with the 10w power supply). Recommended! 👌

I bought one of these and a DP - DP cable from the largest office supply business in Australia and subsequently had no end of trouble trying to boot my computer. It turned out that, like many manufacturers of DP cables it seems, it was not compliant with VESA standards - pin 20 was wired when it shouldn't be, so there was a voltage conflict between my computer and monitors. This Maxonar VESA certified cable works perfectly. Warning - don't buy DP cables that are not certified; they can fry your GPU.

I had originally bought an HDMI 2.1 cable (INR 417) to connect my laptop to a 4K 60hz monitor. But the monitor had an HDMI 2.0 port, so despite my HDMI 2.1 cable, it could only show an 8-bit colour with choppy refresh rates. It was functional but strained my eyes. So I bought this DisplayPort 1.4 cable (INR 2,799), and everything on my monitor is smooth, at 10-bit colour in 4K. My eyes can relax now.
