Great Radios! At the time of purchase these were the most customizable Handheld Ham Radio in the world. So many firmwares out there to play around with these things. It is a great piece of survival kit as it can listen to a very wide range of frequencies and modes. They're solid and very intuitive. Buy these or their current incarnation!

These radios have made an excellent first impression, offering just the right balance of simplicity and reliability. I appreciate how intuitive they are to use—no complicated setup or steep learning curve, which is crucial in situations where time is of the essence. While I initially bought them for emergency preparedness and haven’t had the chance to explore all of their features yet, they’ve already proven to be straightforward and user-friendly right out of the box. Good little Radio, if you're going to mod it, remember - to flash firmware: press PTT and then turn ON (flashlight will light up) then plug cable into radio. while writing to radio flashlight will blink. - to use CPS: First turn radio on, after boot, plug in cable.

Seem to be good little radios. I like that they seem simple enough to use quickly/easily. Purchased for emergency use so haven't thoroughly figured out alot of there possible functions.
